I must admit I have an uneasy feeling about this one. Woking beat Gateshead 0-3 in their last away outing. I am damn sure it wont be 0-0. Going for a 2-3 loss.

It's a very tricky game and probably our biggest test at home to date. We have had a few 3-2 games so have they so that points to a 3-2 game for me like. Pools to win it though all 3 ManiD.

I'm going 2-1 Pools- similar seat of pants win, like Wealdstone

Josh and ManniD to score, Amond with a late consulation goal.

Crowd 4450

A massive 45 from Woking

do not see why not. most only go to home games anyway so they cannot say they have not been entertained this season.

If you’re going to go, you’ll go, could be an interesting match in terms of how they react to last Saturday.
Do the come out hungry, …… or feeling sorry for themselves….!

Well at least Ferguson in his proper position, the nonsense with Grey continues though.

Think with Finney for cooke will be a lot less guile but hopefully more physicality

really depressing start--we havent got anyone fit to interact and play football

Really shitty luck the 3 players prob most comfortable on the ball are all out long term.....not sure what the solution is

Woking looking far more likely

Lacey off Patterosn on

Only a matter of time at min before Woking score.

We look as bad as we did under Curle--just aimless football and playing with 10 men hoofing balls to Grey.

Some sympathy for Askey here as just been gutted with injuries, but its everything we worried about before the season started bullied all over the pitch

2-0 down in first 5 mins of 2nd half

Shambles defensiovely....christ knows what Jameson was doing for 2nd and Patterson shouldnt be anywhere near the first team

There's going to be trouble ahead....

Thank F we got rid of Killip he was the problem!

Wishful thinking but a midfield of Mancini Wallace and Crawford would be good

Umerah showing why he shoudl start

It’s all very unfortunate. Post-Fylde we genuinely looked like world-beaters for the level. Fast forward a couple weeks and we lose arguably our two best players, followed by Cooke today. Typical Pools and the good feel is gone.

We’ve been pretty crap in the past two, but we look a shade of the team we were… but even then we could and should have been ahead at half time today against a pretty dross outfit in Woking.

5 minutes of madness akin to the 7 mins at Oxford you just can’t accept two games in a row. You also can’t really accept many more games with a team who can’t keep a clean sheet in 7 months.

We’re pretty fodder at this point and nowhere near as fun to watch. It’s a shame but hopefully a couple of smart recruits around the corner to help us.

Today has felt like one of those grim afternoons under Harrison in the NL, especially that second goal. That was vintage.

The lad has signed for a month as well. Do find that rather bizarre.

its just typical Pools--2-0 up at Chesterfield and then all turns to shit-I know all lower league clubs think this but f me this club seems cursed sometimes
Hope Singh is patient with Askey and appeciates the circumstances

2-0FInal score....not a lot to be impressed with

Askey seriously has his work cut out from here

For waht its worth--Get Patterson and Grey off for Tuesday and maybe give the new lad a chance for FInney, but a season of treaidng water beckons without new recruitment/major re-think

That’s it. It’s hard work. There’s fury being aimed at Raj all over social media, but he was being lauded just a matter of a few weeks ago.

Dodds and Mancini were arguably in the top 10 players in the division. Cooke was a good player for NL level. Askey clearly can’t organise a defence OR he doesn’t have the personnel he needs in there.

The squad is threadbare, but thats some god awful rotten luck in terms of injuries to key players and we’re also a shambles defensively. Both of those aren’t going to see you very successful on the football pitch, no matter what anybody thinks of the chairman.

Yep Mani O performances dropping as carrying a knock but we can’t rest him

This will get worse before it gets better, it’s not Singhs fault our 2 best players are out for the season and our next best player on the ball sounds like he’s out until the new year

Our 4 defeats are teams who where in the playoffs last season, with Oxford winning the playoffs NLN.. Who have strong lineups and good squads from last season. So we see what we are made of against Altrincham and Daggers, before Boreham Wood a week on Wednesday, another Playoff team from last season.

However this is the reason we'll struggle, as our best players are always made of Glass... sctatchinghead
