Wife wanted some money yesterday and I took her to the local Morrisons where there are 3 cash point machines.

All 3 were "empty", now is this done on purpose, leading to the ever advancing cashless society?

Anyone else had similar experiences?

When you think about it, a cashless society is scary.
The powers that control us will have access to your entire life, because they’ll know everything from the books you buy to charity’s you may donate to..they’ll be able to build a complete profile of you…information is power.Listening to Vegan’s talking about food is them praising how you don’t need to eat meat or milk or cheese etc because it can be modified and created in what are basically chemical processes to produce a substitute, but how could you possibly know what you’re eating if that world were to come about.

No, they’re interested in what you buy with your cash, the things that can’t be traced…to put it crudely if you’re buying an ‘educational’ publication from Randy Bollock’s Porn Products Ltd.you’d rather pay cash than pay with your card.

although i am against the cashless society only because the least amount i use a card the less chance of it being scammed i seriouslt doubt it will affect our lives as we know them if we did not have cash. who are really interested in the spending habits of snowy in hartlepool or me in keighley. its the drug sellers i feel sorry for as how will the interested ones pay for their fix without it. then there are low payment items under 10 pound where it seems stupid handing a card over for just a cup of tea in a cafe. keep cash for these type of sales but cards for higher purchased items and no sodding apps needed for car parking. actually what is a bloody app. i have never known or cared.

I've been cashless for years, apart from when our lass says it's pocket money day.

All very doom and gloom and with good reason to a certain extent.

However, push people far enough and they will fight back.

There are some very clever people out there who aren't on the side of those with power.

People who haven't been paying attention are in for a shock when they realise our PM MR ShoeRack was put in the role to destroy our society just like Johnson , Qartang , Hancock javid , Truss etc etc his role is to instagate the CBDC onto us cash cannot be in the system for a social credit score to work the level of control requires total financial monitoring.
look into his father inlaw Narayan Murthy and what he's doing to India one of ShoeRacks other roles is to push the net zero climate change bill along which has just won 2nd vote and will go to the house of Lords and will ruin our way of life to reach net zero for the climate hoax , if you can't insulate a old home and have a GSHP fitted to your beautiful hard worked for home is under threat with the new fines that all but 8 Mp's voted In this week.
We are governed by Traitors once everyone see's them in solidarity for who they are we have a chance . I hope I get strapped up in a straight jacket for being wrong and took to ward 18 but it's playing out in real time.

they bleat on about insolation of houses. then why do they not build back to back terraced ones and they,d only need to do the roof and the front of the property then and could build more in the plot they have. before they put their plans in force they,d better build more prisons to accomodate us who will not comply with things like smart meters or pay the fines imposed on us. even 5 years back did anyone think we,d be in a situation they have dragged us into now.

you have been scammed. i have, her in the kitchen has and many others you speak to have. How many times have we had our pockets pinched or been held up on a friday with someone demanding our wage packet. very very few i imagine. the banks show little interest if you have been scammed and the police care even less.

I think what we’re failing to understand here is ALL the Party’s are at it.
The public are more concerned about Love Island and their fave soap opera …..if you want to see just how dumb a large percentage of the public are, watch the TV Awards, and see dross exalted.
The majority want one thing, but those in power listen to the screeching voices of the minority who want to control your life, that’s the problem.
The trouble is they have an agenda and we are supposed to lay down and be walked over.

there would be more if they were allowed to pay with cash. there are even car parks now without machines you can pay with cash. i cannot be the only one who has no idea of what a sodding app is never mind download one just to park up for a couple of hours. for me its about options and businesses should offer any type of payment thats around. they should remember its wilso today and them tomorrow if they keep a percentage of the population away.

Cashless began when your wages were paid direct to the bank, I worked at the Power Station for a contractor in the eighties, one lad refused to have his wages into the bank, he would never say why.

Another story years before that a contractor on the Power Station workers were paid in cash, one of the office workers used to go to the bank every week for the cash. On one run his car caught fire, he got found as there were no coins in the burnt our car. Turns out there had been a collection for a fella who was killed on site, he was looking after the collection money, he blow it and was hoping to use the wages money to replace it.

And another story, at a Power Station in Scotland a squad of laggers all started on the same day, they all wanted a sub which the company duly paid and they all signed for it. The site cabin got burned down that night destroying all the evidence of the receipts !

until the mid 80,s it was illegal to pay wages in anything but cash if the employee demanded it. this went back to the 19th century when canal and railway workers were paid with tokens that could only be used in the company shops. a law called the truck acts came about due to this but was repealed in the 1980,s when i had to open a bank account to get my wages paid in. good job it was easier to do that then unlike it is now.

I recall a certain store in the 70’s which was burned down by two burglars, the store was totally destroyed and it turned out so were the records for account holders at the store as it was pre computer days so it was all on paper. The store appealed for customers to come forward so they could find out how much money they owed…wonder how many did unless you were well known to the management…and even then how could they be asked to pay up.
