The plan to build three ships to travel around the world bringing aid to stricken countries was on TV…One point caught my eye when they proposed the ships could also be used to train future seafarers…seriously!
I thought the fashionable thing was to get rid of British seafarers and replace them with cheap overseas replacements…..like P&O Ferries did.

Will be our luck they will bring back a load more refugees.

By the way I expect 20 dozen small boat loads of Libyans arriving soon?

odd how money can always be found for any single thing that happens abroad. are other countries totally obsessed by world events as we are. pity they are not as interested in the ones who have no interest in the net zero crap.

‘Net Zero’ is one of the ideas beloved of the middle classes and therefore will take some some stopping. They think it’s wonderful, but we’ll be picking up the bill.
No Party’s are taking a blind bit of notice of the majority opinion any more, if your thoughts coincide with their’s it’s wonderful, if they don’t you’ll be told basically to sod off’ but in more fragrant language,

got to remember that they know better than you because they haave a degree for a start. no matter where you are now as a voter left, right or centre there is no party that represents the majority view on any subject. its as if ideas are thought up that people either have no interest in or dislike and follow them through. iff you do not follow you,ll be branded as some type of IST or deny something.
