There must have been some goings on at Scunny today in their match v Buxton. The game was abandoned in the 96th minute with Buxton 2-1 up!

Most full time scores say the result was 0-0 but that certainly was not the case.

The weather was bad with a torrential downpour but you would have thought the Referee would have some sense (not many seem to have any) and just called full time.

He had apparently on the stroke of half time sent off a player who after "accidently" knocking this player over, the said player jumped up and "pushed" the referee for which he was shown a red card.

There appears to be awful refs, awful awful refs and others who shouldn't be allowed near a football pitch!

think the commontators at the oxford match summed it up yesterday about refs who are more interested in getting things right in the eyes of assessors rather than the use of common sense. the lad who did our game who i thought was decent played 5 minutes added in the first half were both sides just tried to play keep ball negative football to run the clock down. at the end 8 minutes had to be added on in sweltering heat with a result never in doubt. basically both teams would have been quite happy coming off after 45 minutes of both halfs were played as would been the case of the vast majority of fans. you cannot do any job with your hands tied behind your back having to follow all new guidelines to the letter no matter what your own feelings are.
