From the off the local reporter had an habit of getting the names wrong or mispronouncing them assisted by ‘Bert Fuzzychin’ whoever he was who kept harking back to his ‘playing days’ alongside his best mate ‘Dave Bloke’ it was even worse when he kept droning on as though ‘City’ just needed the word ‘Manchester’ so fulsome was his praise for the team.
Don’t know which was worse the result or that commentary plus disjointed camera angles.

Snowy you can listen to commentary each week on BBC radio Tees free and you can understand the accents and do not have to watch the debacle put on today. Guess Eddie Kyle would have had a field day with his comments.

Watching the match live, I found their commentary almost a parody, plus I wasn’t the only person present….. not my choice as I never watch a match with the commentary on, what’s the point….but if it’s beyond my control I reserve the right to take the piss out of it when it’s unintentionally funny..

after suffering the bloke doing the chesterfield game who sounded more biased than paul cook i thought they were actually fine. how many of us could pronounce the surnames of the 2 manny,s before they came to the club. last season i thought the word hastie was pronounced shit or crap depending who you spoke to.
