Just watched the game at Altrincham and they run the first half and looked good.Second half all Altrincham who got a very deserved win. It seems that Cheaterfield are not very fit which really surprises me. No energy at all second half looked totally knackered. The Machine Mancini will run them ragged we are far far fitter judging by this game. Any top team would push at 1-1 to get a winner but batteries totally dead and it could have been worse. Come on Pools

Pools are top of the league and top scorers in the League. The Cheats have plenty to worry about on Monday. Then again, naff all is decided in August. bbolt

If they aren’t fit enough Chesterfield may have a problem.

I bet Cheaterfield are now shitting themselves at the prospect of playing Pools on Monday.
John and the boys will just go and do what they do, and hopefully return with all the points!
That said wouldn't be too upset with a draw, if offered now!

But should we come up short and lose then it's not the end of the world and as the manager says, let's see where we are after 10 games. Let's just enjoy the ride rolf rolf rolf

Cheaterfield fans reckon that they have been lucky in every game and should not of had a single win. Also some want cook out and say this team are scared of teams that go at them and cannot defend. Despite a lot of ball possession very rarely do they make chances. Some believe Pools will hammer them...hope they are correct. If we score 1st l reckon the fans will start shouting for the manager to leave which could only effect the players negatively and make our job that bit easier.

Think we need to score first, or at least not concede too early. Their crowd will then be on their backs and that of their odious Scouse Get manager Cook.

Sounds like he's under a bit of pressure and their fans believe that now Notts and the Hollywood Boyo's have fucked off that they have a devine right to win the league.

Come on Pools- let's further derail their quest for the summit. That said I'd take a draw before a ball is kicked.

well paul cook did not get the nickname as the snake at accrington for nothing. as i have said somewhere else i feel this game might be something of a lottery where the team with the least injuries and fitness problems could be the one that picks up the points. on paper its our hardest away game and if we got hammered we do not go there again. cook loves a good excuse and he,s got a ready made one with this stupid quick turnaround. due to this i,d be delighted if all the games ended goaless with typical goaless games in the bargain.

Cook cant use that excuse cas he stated yesterday that he got no problems at all regarding 2 games in 3 days.

Not making a prediction but I am confident it wont be goaless. We are always going to concede so its a question of us outscoring them. Both sets of players are going to be a bit leggy so who knows.

not too sure about that. both teams will be respecting each other and can see it being a real cagey affair due to what you say. goals might come more to do with mental tiredness than physical ones. if the game is even then the longer it goes on without any team scoring i think both managers will be happy and quickly move on to saturday. more you expect a good game againt two good sides less it seams to happen cancelling each other out and neither being brave enough.
