Anyone help here, I had Radio Tees on in the car and if I understand it Pool’s match’s won’t be covered anymore on the radio, I caught something about playing Maidstone on the Tuesday which will be covered in that instance because the Boro aren’t playing…but reports of matches will be on BBC online.
I seriously hope I misunderstood exactly what they were saying

I know that, but will Tees still be covering Pools matches…?

Just grabbed this from their website, so it looks like you misheard:

"BBC Radio Tees Sport is on air weekdays 6pm-7pm and Saturdays 2pm-6pm. We have commentary on every Middlesbrough and Hartlepool United match as well as comprehensive coverage of Durham and Yorkshire and the latest on the Redcar Bears."

It was the Maidenhead match btw, but I never heard them mention that we would be on DAB radio when Boro on FM, mentioned BBC Sounds, but if you can get commentary on National league commentaries that'll do for me.

My concern was for those who have no other access than the radio.

So, Back to the BBC Radio Tees website:

"BBC Radio Tees is the only station with full-match commentary on Middlesbrough FC.

When Boro are the only team playing we broadcast the game on 95FM, DAB & Freeview 722 but when Pools are playing the Boro match is on 95FM and Freeview 722 with Pools on DAB.

Mark Drury and Neil Maddison are your commentary team for Boro games.

HARTLEPOOL UNITED

We have full-match commentary on every Hartlepool United match on DAB."

Clear enough for everyone, isn't it?

Has Micky Barron replaced Eddie Kyle as the Tees Pools match expert summeriser?

It’s going to be a combination of Micky Barron, Ben Clarke and Higgy joining Rob Law, but sounds like it’s mostly Barron with the others covering for some of the games.

Bit of a selfish attitude Kev, surprisingly, a lot of people aren’t ‘on line’ as I’ve found out.
I can go on line, but if Pools are away, I go out to my workshop, turn the radio on and carry on metal bashing and it’s a good way to take out your frustrations when things go tits up.

As I said you will get live commentary of the NL games online at BBC Sport, League games are covered by some form of licensing rights and you cannot listen to them outside the U.K. ,maybe a VPN would work although I never tried one.

I am watching the lionesses with a vpn

Its Slightly better than listening to games.
Work out a lot cheaper than subscribing now n again.

During the game on Tuesday on the reports they said match day commentary would be available on line, if you go to BBC sport football commentaries you will come to the list of games available.

So looks like tonight I need to experiment with trying to access Tees on the internet at 9pm Thai time. Looking at packages available on Pools website, it’s going to be a hit and miss on what games you can stream. As I understand it matches played outside the usual 3pm are restricted. Think I will give my brother a ring in Hartlepool this evening. He has one of those boxes you can access for free. I’ve been looking at IPTV
myself over the last few months and so many different packages. I think if your abroad maybe the 3pm matches are shown somewhere as the restrictions don’t apply?

After a certain time in the evening Radio Tees switches to Five Live, Tees returns at 6 in the morning. Todays game won’t be on Tees online as the Boro are playing but you will be able to listen to Pools online at the BBC, I did the last time when I was in Thailand and Pools were in the N.L. It’s only when Pools were in the League proper you couldn’t listen to games to licencing rights.

You can buy an android digi box from Lazada around ฿1000 and if you live near a Tukom outlet you can it loaded up, ฿1500 I think, you have to renew it annually. A fella in Pattaya does it for around ฿2000 but again you have to renew it annually, unfortunately I lost his phone number.

You can watch the game today on National League TV for less than a tenner if you are abroad or use a VPN

Thanks for the link. I could not see the audio button on the right hand side . Does that appear before the match? I’ve also downloaded Freeview so let’s see if that works too. Audio will do me for this game although would prefer to watch live. Northumberland reckons you can stream it but when I went on pools site this morning it wasn’t showing

Download the BBC sport app on your phone

Go to national League in the football section

Choose your commentary

Tees is working fine through my phone in the drizzly Midlands

I was travelling back from Leeds this afternoon- after a day on the Ale watching the Hundred at Headingley yesterday. I too, tried to access the much talked about BBC non league coverage and to my dismay Pools were about the only National League team NOT listed. Particularly galling when we scored in the first 10 minutes! :angry-screaming: banghead refred

To make matters worse most of Conference North (including darLO) and South were listed.

I was fucking livid driving down the M1. Had to make do with the end of the Lionesses game followed by local radio coverage of teams on eastern side - Sheff Wed, Mansfield, Notts County v Grimsby, Lincoln, and Uddersfield v Leicester before putting on 5live. Got home about half 4 and her indoors had SARFend commentary on rakxe

It’s really annoying. I can’t understand what’s going on. I downloaded the bbc sports app and only about half the games where illustrated. I ended up going on to the pools website and paid for the audio. This really is a shambles.

Radio Tees was a shambles yesterday. Listening on line it stated 14 00-1500 pre match for Pools what we got were the boro crying over another defeat then at 1500 it went to squad goals . I rang them up to be told go to Band tap on app for non-league commentary and tap on relevant icon but it was not there so just watched Sky sports Saturday of course no Sir Jeff so no special heralding Pools goals.Went back to Radio Tees for the after match summary.
