The second half especially made Maidenhead look like a team playing a team a couple of leagues above them, it was pure pleasure to watch them, they were relentless.

That's the thing no easing off until the last 2 to 3 mins.

Only 10 out

Could here the 23 singing whenever the Mill House went quiet so fair play to them.

On one level it isn't a fair comparison. Plenty of Poolies now living in the South-East, but there can't be many Maidenheads in Teesside.

Don't think we eased off at all, they scored an excellent goal. Couldn't get past Seaman so they dinked it round them and the striker took an excellent touch and finished with aplomb.

i got it on NLTV after much messing about. Only problem was it was buffering quite a bit in the second half. I just kept refreshing until it caught up with itself. Not exactly ideal but I expect it will improve, or people will stop buying it.

Watched the highlights - (admittedly it was the best bits) but we looked awesome!

Mancini is a different gravy to what we've been used to. Seaman's goal was brilliant - reckon we've got the better deal out of Donny and when the ball goes in the box, we seem to have players capable of putting it in the net.

ManiO at the back also looks a very astute signing and the defence in general also seem to have more confidence in the keeper behind them.

Think our biggest issues as someone has already alluded to will be player availablity.
Hopefully we can keep the majority fit for the season and not pick up too many suspensions through unnecessary bookings

Full credit to the staff too, as from the little I've seen - the squad look a lot fitter than they've been in a long time - nice to see them not blowing out of their arses after an hour, which was a big reason we got the late winner against the Heed on Saturday

I also get the feeling that the players actually like each other and enjoy playing for the shirt and fans- most refreshing! rolf

Crawford looks to be fitting in very well and must be on the way to silencing some of his critics. Rarely gives the ball away, covers huge distances, and looking to get us moving forward.
Hope he can stay fit.

Agree about Crawford. Last night was the best all round display I've seen from him in a Pools shirt.

I like Crawford he is a genuine player who given time will win over more fans.Just one negative he did not mark the player who ran right past him and scored.

Fantastic 2nd half and my youngest saw his first ever pools win (only took him 8 attempts)

think all clubs will be in the same boat regarding suspensions with all these cautions being handed out. injuries are the main problem. unless things have changed at pools we seem to get more of these than many other clubs seem to get, possibly the extra fitness being shown might keep these injuries to a minimum as fitter you are the more chance of not picking up non contact injuries. togetherness between the players is quite easy though when they are in control of a game unlike last season when they were playing second fiddle to almost everyone.

i,ll give it one more go and that will be that if i get all the problems i got. found the whole thing more stressful than night driving and pop up roadworks and diversions on my way home.

we just need a better bench - if we loose 2/3 key players we could well be in the sh!t. Luckily again we have been in a fortunate situation whereas we have Wreh to fill in for Umerah and still have Grey on the bench to bring on - we have not had that luck for many seasons now, even through the DC era we had a shan front line if Armstrong or Oates got injured !

JA is working a masterclass and you can see why he had such success previously !

Ideally if this kid comes in from York and we get Wallace back we will be even better and places will be hard pushed for competition, again something we didnt see at all last season.

Remove Hastie off the bench with a winger of better quality and get in another striker to challenge Grey or Wreh for the bench seat and we will most deffo be sitting top 5 all season

Our Lass was the person who eventually cracked it and it took her quite a while and she spends most of her waking day on a computer or rather a bank of them.
Now that I am now registered I expect next time to be straightforward or it should be but not holding my breath. I'll ask her to talk you through it Mr Accy if you have problems again.

if it took her a while to sort something out that should have been easy i think any survivors still around from bletchley park must have set the thing up at the outset. said at the outset of relegation that going down was not the worst thing to happen. BT sports and a new stream was.
