there are always some real unexpected results and scores around with a player scoring the first goal who hasn,t scored for a couple of seasons. the problem is finding it to make a bomb. do not bet but know of at least one bloke who only bets on odds on favourites in football and horse racing but does come out with a profit every year. problem is the profit is so small it seems hardly worth the bother.

How's this for bold. Pools to win 3-0 tomorrow at Barnet. Put a quid on at Willie Hill at 33/1. Remember once years ago Pools played at Wigan Athletic the first game and won 3-0 and my namesake Geoff Forster scored (2). Hopefully history can repeat itself.
