Want an update - at the present time the manager is working on bringing in players. - What more do you expect obviously like all clubs cannot name players. I would love to know who he is interested in but I’m a realist and know he won’t advertise it.

I appreciate it is frustrating when it appears nothing is happening but I would hazard a guess Askey is working his bollocks off trying to do deals.

the last bit is totally true but it does not help fans who either have an agenda or have no patience. anyone looking for a marquee type signing might have a long wait as i doubt JA is the type of manager to sign one even if he had the money to do so.

Speaking for myself, if I owned a football club I don't thing I would even consider pandering to people with no patience.
I agree about JA, he doesn't seem the type to me either.
Putting myself in Raj's shoes and looking to sell the club, I would look to keeping the club ticking over with a squad able to hold their own. I wouldn't even consider building a promotion outfit as I would consider that onus to be firmly down to the new owners.
I suppose we have to consider the possibility that nobody buys the club, not at the moment anyway. At that point Raj has a big decision to make. Does he carry on regardless until someone turns up at a later date or does he walk away.
I think this is an important point in the proceedings as I can imagine it could put players off from coming here, especially if they have options. Nobody likes uncertainty.

again its just guess work and putting ourselves in raj,s place and doing what we would do. for me selling anything its the best to sell it in the best condition you can put it even if it means throwing time and money at it. you will never get the asking price for a club that looks getting close to its death bed in the same way as selling a car where the back looks like a dog kennel. possibly askey knows about the full intentions of raj which could be either tying his hands or really be able to sell the club to prospective players. again a fan of yeovil will have as much idea of whats happening at pools as we do.[/quote]

Yes titivating up something you want to sell is always an option and it's simply down to choice in the end.
When we go to a supermarket we very rarely, if ever, try to negotiate the asking price down but when it comes to person to person buying and selling it almost always happens. All that tends to to is encourage the seller to put an inflated price on the deal hoping to get offered on or above what his real asking price is.
It's a game and we all take part but not in supermarkets. I suppose somebody, somewhere will kick it off. Can you imagine the ensuing chaos. It's probably the ensuing chaos that stops it happening.
We all have different approaches at the end of the day.
Generally fans have no idea of what is going on which is why they guess, speculate or make things up. Remember Hodcroft used to say, don't believe anything until it is on the official site. He had a proper media department in those days.

How, they aren’t gonna reveal anything that might give away any meaningful information till deals are done. No point in saying we’re close to signing Rampton Rogers then he jumps ship to sign for some other club.

No patience accrington we have been waiting 2 year for the club to compete on an even keel or given a fighting chance against others in the league. If raj said I can't afford to run a football league club or in his case 2 now. Maybe he would get sympathy and fans can plan ahead but no Mr Singh chose to say other things. We have been on a downward spiral for 2 years, when a tiny bit of investment earlier in maybe a better manager better players could of prevented all this. Easy to say in hindsight but let's be honest most of us could see what was happening.

Nail on head there sunshine.
You get a clue who he was after when a player signs for another club and somebody on social media will deduce he signed for that club because we offered him peanuts.
And so it goes on and always will, I'm afraid.

We have been updated in actions, it's the same every transfer window. We can all wait until August 7th for the proof of those actions if we need too or keep pretending we are going to do things about the situation were in. Facts are since the play off final we continually lose our best players and replace them in the main, maybe dodds umerah and sylla as exceptions with worse players. We can blame all the managers under the sun and even under askey we didn't win much. We just got to hope lack of players silence is the club is getting closer to being sold, whether its Gary coxalls brother or Chris turner's consortium I'm willing to take that chance now.

by patience i,m on about signings for next season thats sod all to do with 2 seasons of mistakes and cock ups that have been made. you can only make sure the past is not repeated and being the first club to complete their transfer business is no guarentee it will right the wrongs of the past.

But this is where the impatience of fans is coming from, it's 2 years in the making we have seen it all before, the same thing will happen again. Nobody is saying we need to the first to complete our transfers but us more than anyone are in a bigger mess than most clubs. We have lost how many players since the season ended? We hardly won a game last season, We can't afford to rebuild a full squad in the middle of July when most teams have picked up the good players, we more than anyone needs to get in fairly early to rebuild the mess.
