Acland Homes Stand anyone?

I had an email from the club just now about season ticket renewal and it appears that the Millhouse a.k.a. Neale Cooper Stand a.k.a. The Teesside Airport Neale Cooper Stand is about to be rebranded as the Acland Homes Stand.

Good news that somebody is sorting out new sponsors for the coming season in the NL I guess.

Perhaps, but a distinct lack of respect for the memory of Neale.

That stand is called the Mill House stand by most people and the name of Neale Cooper will be the official name, but the club stands to profit by a season’s worth of sponsorship, ….. but where the idea of disrespect comes from baffles me.
