Now the seasons over let’s get the opinions of the culinary experts on the Bunker.
Air Fryers will they turn out to be another kitchen must have gadget like a pressure cooker, slo cooker, steamer, sandwich maker, waffle maker, microwave etc and end up in the cupboard never to be used once the novelty has worn off ?
After much convincing I bought one, yes it’s ok basically a mini fan oven, more efficient as you are heating a smaller space but apart from that nought else.
The only other gadgets I use are a microwave, only to heat stuff and a slo cooker which I like as you can cook loads of different stuff in it.

Our chef doesn't allow anybody into the kitchen, so I'm not sure what his range of gadgets amount to.

Great for cheese toasties ,chips ,sausages and all sorts of snacks, rarely use the ovens grill now..The upgrade on the air fryer and my nescafe dolce gusto are definitely the best buys for the kitchen this year.

Use it most of the time, Roast chicken, Roast potatoes, pork chops on the bone, the best cooked steak ever. Mixed peppers. Chicken breast. All good and succulent due to quicker cooking times,.

They do take some getting used to for your own personal preferences.

Having two draws is handy as well.

Having a small family ours is never off - you find yourself cooking everything in the damn thing

its also very handy to take to the caravan or camping.

only draw back being - they need to make bigger ones - ive resulted in having 2 on the go.

A bigger one is called a fan assisted oven.

They are as I said a mini fan assisted oven, a fan is mounted above an element and blows the hot air into the box.
