At least we're not fannying about leaving offers on the table till pre-season like last summer. Hopefully Jennings and Featherstone will confirm what they're doing one way or the other this week.

I'll guarantee Stockport won't.

john coleman gives em a certain length of time to accept whats on the table no matter who they are. there is nobody out of contract at pools that the club should be on their knees pleading with to re sign.

Goalkeepers generally mature with age, Killip is 27 years old and hasn’t really improved, always a good shot stopper but defending crosses and clearances never really improved.
He will have another club lined up, no one is going make themselves unemployed because you don’t like your salary.

See Jameson at Harrogate has been been listed could be interesting as he was first choice keeper for York under Askey. Do you realise three of our players from last season and this have featured in the play offs Byrne (Stockport) Cairns the keeper loaned for FA cup (Salford) and defender Chrichlow (Bradford).

Did he ride off into the sunset, grabbed the reins and fell off his horse?

It’s going to be interesting next season because we still have loads of the kilt wearers on our books. So unless Askey can perform miracles with what budget we have left we could be struggling . I would be amazed if we where pushing for promotion in out first season back. Don’t forget how sh**E most of this squad is. The only positive for me so far is Askey!

another thing too is we can utilise the transfer market as we please with no window.

this will be key for us again id imagine - even more so if we get a new owner with cash

Yet you’re mourning the loss of Killip. Oh dear.

the interesting thing is where he will end up. a career out of the game painting white lines due to his love of standing on them is a poosibility.

As I said Killip isn’t going to walk without another offer being on the table.

He maybe would if he's been told he won't be guaranteed first choice keeper.

I doubt he is deliberately going to make himself unemployed, better on the inside looking out.

Yes his choice, I think a rash decision by him not unless he has an another club lined up ?
