As you're fond of saying about Dave Challinor's departure (and the two are not unrelated) - It's happened. Move on.

Turns out we were only visiting anyway. :(

I’ll adapt, most will, we do indeed move on, that’s life.
Any regrets are not going to change anything, you adapt or grumble and grumbling changes nothing.

'We indeed move on"

Very true - but how many will now move on to 'pastures new'?

I, for one, will not abuse Raj - he 'contributed' to the great day in Bristol (where we were outplayed after getting into the play offs with a great deal of luck) - but he won't get anymore of my cash.

Thats whats getting me ,Genuine fans who would not dream of abusing him get tared with the same brush.

He could have said in his interview how much he appreciates the genuine supporeters, And will always have time for those.
He really needs a PA to run through his media, Before its put out, Because that Chandy is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Well said Mr G'End.

Chandy was probably told what to ask. But just as Raj is feeling alienated, he is alienating the vast majority - I still feel robbed over the season ticket payments during lockdown -- the shop vouchers were an insulting 'thank you' - and the 'big signings' blurb convinced many to buy tickets. Will we all do that again? How many feel that their loyal support has been disrespected? As you say, he needs PR advice - as well as a cream for his thinning skin.

The club shop accepted the only thing I wanted with my vouchers the emailed to say it was out of stock in my size, so I ended up not using them at all! Pleasure at finally going up made me inclined to write it off due to the exceptional circumstances (and having an ST did mean I got a ticket for Bristol...)

After this season's shambles, a really big discount for existing ST holders is the only reasonable inducement the club could offer to get people signed up again in the summer. Definitely won't be holding my breath for that...

I genuinely believe that after this catastrophic season and the drop to a lower league, a cut in season ticket prices is the least that can be expected.
Like the Captain of the Titanic, Raj was on the bridge and while he needn’t go down with the ship, season ticket prices can.

Seems like the ones who accept shite like to think they are a cut above the Whinging Brigade.

Social media bullshit :angry-tappingfoot:

can pools or any other club actually do that. there are so many regulations about what clubs can or cannot do where fans are concerned. just offer them at a really good price to encourage fans to purchase them again and put the prices somewhere in the middle of what other northern clubs are charging their fans. the club obviously needs our money and no one should expect something for nowt.

Depends what size budget we would like Askey to have.

yes but surely we should not have the highest prices in the league or matchday tickets to do this. we have gone down a step unlike some who have gone up one and need as many fans as possible without giving them another excuse not to attend. where season tickets are concerned fans are buying blind without the knowledge of the full squad in august or next season later than that. fans at fylde and ebbsfleet will be far happier today than we are playing in the same league next season plus a couple more in the coming weeks.
