With you there. We've had the verdict. Now the inquest will go on for months.

I just watched it. Someone should really have told him not to put that out.

Just watched the interview was there a genuine hint of emotion from Singh or was it frustration and anger. What did he expect on Saturday, a round of applause after all it was his managerial appointments that have now more or less got Pools relegated.

Get real, he couldn’t stop Challinor going. Rajcouldn’t compete with the financial backing Stockport had and it was ‘round the corner’ from his home so there was no way he’d turn it down and I don’t blame him if I had a family life I’d have done it.
I sense a lot of frustration, but it may have been wiser to step back and put the running of the club into expert hands….. every owner successful in their business role thinks they can transfer their skill to running a football club, but football is a ‘unique’ business with no relation to conventional business which is always their downfall…..saves the frustration too.

He only signed the 3 year contract to get Compo for Pools.
And fairplay to him.

some will never get it. if we were offered a job with more money closer to where we live and want to continue living in that area we,d have jumped at the chance without a second thought. the wring was always on the wall with him not moving his family up here after all the time he was with us. he was never a lifelong fan of pools, just a decent job of work when he was out of one.

It wasn’t a Tees interview as Singh mentioned Alex at the beginning so it was a Chandy interview plus I am currently in Vietnam on a short break. The BBC is banned online here even YouTube videos which mention the BBC, the Vietnamese government don’t like the BBC political comments.

the more you digest it the worse it sounds....maybe things calm down when teh dust settles, but that was the interview of a man who feels he has been unfairly maligned by ungrateful fans, and is setting up for when the shit hits the fan to blame it on the fans ingratitude.
I hope I am wrong but I think its all downhill from here.

As darlo fans have already said he will scour the net to justify his actions by blaming anyone who criticises him.

I did see in the mail that someone was arrested for racist abuse on twitter after Saturdays game... while not debating teh rights and wrongs for arresting someone for what they post online, i wonder if that was directed at Singh--if so totally out of order but there will always be idiots.

Not aware of any other abuse examples, at him or his family though obviously we dont know everything.

it would certainly not be the first time this has happened regarding a club owner and their family if his actions are not what fans want. clearly this is not the case with him and his family pulling the strings so its better to shut our gobs and keep off twitter etc. unless there is something positive to say. you would not abuse the owner of a corner shop if they put there prices up and stop selling your favourite dog food if their skin colour and name was far different to ours.

If comments passed are abusive you’re asking for trouble and there really is no point to it.
However if you stick to the facts and ask questions you’re untouchable.
Anybody displeased with a valid point or question being put to them reveals their own discomfort.

just wonder if pools and football in general have become far more important in our lives than they once were. actually the entertainment on offer is far worse than in the 70,s which was shite results wise. there was still the odd player with something different about them and others away from darlo we used to love to hate. now everything is so bland and forgettable like the players and opponents who look the same, set up the same and could be crawley or crewe for that matter with a bit of colchester added. yet we get worked up to a franzy about not winning these weekly festivals of boredom.

What the hell has skin colour or name got to do with this.

You could write a song Accy

A little bit of Crawley on my mind, A little bit of Crewe winning from behind, A little bit of pools winning 3 on the bounce.

Nah will never catch on.

A little bit of Umerah being wrestled, a little bit of Fergie then little, a little bit of Walsall tomorrow, a little bit of Kempy 'cos that's all we're getting' a little bit of the old Sterry, a little bit of Stole A cheque after Liecester sells him to us, a little bit of satnav after Stockport (or a map), a little bit of fair play from ref's and linespeople, a big bit of Strongarm to ease the pain. Enough, enough!

A little bit of most of the players in the last few games was the problem. Had we had a lot more the situation would be markedly different.

The players had a choice to be belated heroes, but their mysterious loss of form for the last three games were the icing on the headstone of this season, but the problem started on day one of the season , the last three games didn’t really get us relegated as we shouldn’t have been in this situation in the first place, but does reveal something of the team and it’s not complimentary.

If Singh doesn’t like the heat in the kitchen as the saying goes he should move on, most owners and chairmen get abuse but they don’t spit their dummy out or throw their toys out of the pram.

I find people who cannot take any sort of criticism are also bad at self reflection. Which probably explains why he has learned nothing from his time at Darlo.

It’s never Singhs fault. If he makes a mistake it’s someone else that’s forced it.
Everyone makes mistakes, you try and learn from them. Passing the buck for making the same mistakes says more about him than it does anyone else.

He's had so many advisers over the years - a revolving door of directors and management staff - were they all awful?
