I,m swerving this one as I've given up too many weekends watching this lot and spent most of it in a bad mood :angry-tappingfoot: So I'm going to enjoy this weekend and yes I'll be keeping up with the game on my phone as it's a hard habit to break banghead but the result, whatever it will be will not effect the dire straits we are now in. No doubt there will be protests and abuse thrown around like confetti but when the dust has settled and our fate is confirmed we will just have to wait and see who comes and goes and who stays. Interesting times ahead, nothing new there then when your a Pools supporter. sadx

just need to earn the wages they are getting. none of our opponents have supernatural powers and have two of everything and one of others like our lot have.

We will see.

Some will not find a club elsewhere.

3-0 Barrow . If pools can’t get motivated with 7000 fans they won’t with 3500 plus. Might be worth a bet at what time will Pools concede. Sorry I am so negative I am past caring

Cant believe there are still people on here who believe Pools can go a full game and not concede. No idea what the final result will be but I know that Barrow will score. Crawley will brush Walsall aside so none of it matters.

If stevenage win on Saturday Stockport will be already in the playoffs when they play us. Will they be up for it??
OK I admit I need to change my meds but stranger things have happened in football.

Not sure Crawley will brush Walsall aside and a clean sheet for Pools has to come some time soon. Probably proved wrong again but you have to have opposing views to oppose them or it becomes a sort of Bunker dictatorship in a way.

You are entitled to your view which is as valid as anyone else's. Obviously we are not going to agree on everything. I hope you are correct, it would certainly make the Stockport game more appealing.

I know Kevin Phillips was interested in the Manager's job at Walsall - has he got it?

He had a large house between Lichfield & Rugeley about 5 years ago, has he still got it? Handy for the Walsall job.

That would spice things up at the Saddlers.

3 year contracts to people like Grey show how clueless this club is playing wise, he should be nowhere near a football league (or national league) starting 11

Stockport depends on which Pools turn up.
As for the pool of players, the likes of Kemp will return to their clubs, but his inconsistency may be the reason he’s here on loan. No doubt the lad has talent, but would he want to exercise it in the National League.
We need to go into next season with a drilled and committed team because this lot look like a plane I once heard described as 20,000 rivets flying in loose formation, like herding cats.
The dross do need freezing out, if they’re serious about being footballers let them rot, they’ll soon get the message when they’re involved in nothing and just marking time.

would be just like football if we beat barrow, crawley lose to build our hopes up yet again. then wait 9 days to winning at stockport only to hear of a 98th minute equaliser for crawley after the board went up with 5 on it after a delayed kick off when we were driving back only to crash the car in temper.

Just repeating what I said earlier;

We win 1-0, Crawley lose by same score

Halfway to my massive accumulator to win mega bucks after the final games achieve the same results.

Totally hope you are right Mr Critical but I just cant get my head round the idea of Pools not conceding at least one goal.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned elsewhere but if we buck the trend tomorrow, apparently it’ll be our 1000th EFL home victory

Gosh, didn't know that but I'm not expecting a win tomorrow so this 1000th EFL home victory record may be on hold for quite some time.

Could be a very interesting line up today, Maybe Askey will show us a side of him we have not seen.

3-0 pools, Kemp 2 Josh 1, if both are selected.

No Sylla or Kemp at all and umerah benched

Am sure a midfield of featherstone Crawford and cooke will run through the opposition

No pressure really on Pools. We will win 1-0, but unfortunately Crawley will get the point required.

The Stocky result against the O's was going to be an away win as the O's are already Champions and this was a nothing game for them.

Pools have actually played the ball on the floor quite nicely today but it’s been the final problem. With 3 six foot 4 defenders you got to pass to feet. Still better than the usual shite. Think Josh should come on final 30 minutes I’m not a big Hamilton fan although he scored.

Dunno. Here's some tentative suggestions.
1. Crawley simply didn't allow us to.
2. The pressure got to the Pools players so they were nervy and scared to make a mistake.
3. Barrow had nowt to play for whereas Crawley had that steely determination because their FL survival was on the line.
4. Some individuals who played last week couldnt be bothered for a variety of reasons which we may never know about.

As I say just tentative ideas, I dont want an argument.

Some of the passing today was wonderful. Ferguson played brilliant . A few weeks ago he was shite. Typical Pools we are an enigma . Congratulations to Askey for being bold with the team today .
