The oldest supporters group is the Supporters Association based in the Corner Flag. In the 40 years of their existence other supporters groups have appeared and just as quickly disappeared. That I think is partly the problem. Instead of joining a long established group and working with them ,strength in numbers and all that, a number of individuals, for whatever reason , think they can do better. Remember the S.A. provided a focal point for all supporters of H.U.F.C when the football club couldn’t ,or wouldn’t do it. I know some of the groups mentioned are discussion groups only but do the other groups have a proper constitution and hold a members AGM where officials are elected by the membership.

I recall there was a group called The Passion Killers who were Pools fans. Don't know if they still exist.

you have hit all the problems on the head there. the person who can always do better, attempt to change, stirs up the crap and walks away. we need 1 organisation only that fans can join or not. even then it will be difficult as some of the big noises only have to meet a few of those at the top of the club to stop being militant as they once were. we have all seen union officials like that where fighting the regional office was harder than fighting management.

It suits the management of Pools to have a number of supporters groups, it is a case of divide and rule. They know that if there was one strong supporters group they would be lobbying for a seat on the board. That would never do. Accrington Fan is right we need one strong supporters group, but I am afraid that certain individuals are on an ego trip and would never agree to combining groups to form one strong voice.

I've dropped you a message on here, if you could take a look please.

We don't have to unify behind one supporters group, just on a common objective - we all care about Pools and want clarity from Raj.

If we can agree on that as a collective, thats powerful.
