The trust was screwed when the then chairman went on telly and his only solution was to hope that someone buys the club. Really? If that’s the case then what is the point of a supporters trust.

Put the club up for sale for the true value of £97 plus VAT.

He won't be getting a penny out of me either. The club is heading for the conference north.

I think we’ll be Wearside League within two years. The parachute payments will fund next season but after that we’re fooked.

Maybe some more American film stars are on the look out for a sleeping giant in the conference. We can only prey.

It will be interesting to see how many turn up next Saturday. The club is going to have a big job on their hands getting fans to renew Season tickets. It'll be some time before we see a gate of 6812 at the Vic again, unless dramatic changes take place. I won't be buying any more audio passes this season and I have no interest in the oblivion league as things stand.
As for Raj, my position hasn't changed, in that unless some wealthy buyer comes forward and agrees a deal with him to take over then we're stuck with him. However as he has become public enemy number one, it wouldn't surprise me if he pulled the plug. I think we are heading for a few seasons of further heartache unless, as have said earlier, dramatic changes take place.
It is difficult to see any light at the end of the tunnel and I'm a tad short on optimism on this very sad day.

Me too, that's the last home game for me until Singh has gone.

I’m gutted after that today but TBH I’m relieved that it’s basically season over now.
It’s been a god awful season but the disappointment I can handle, it’s the hope and all that jazz.
Think I’ll be taking a break from football for a good few months now.
Don’t even want to start laying blame, just sickening that football nowadays is dictated by how much your owners are able or willing to lose money wise.

Dreadful. No point in singling out individual players for criticism because apart from Sylla nobody had a decent game.

It's fair though to wonder where the spirit that got Pools to 8 games unbeaten disappeared to. Something going on behind the scenes?

No Chairman's notes in the programme.

I was wondering that. The contrast in how they have performed in the last three games and before is stark. What has gone on?

Other than the loanees and Sylla, very few of them are good enough to have a realistic aspiration of playing in a level above the National League. Maybe a few will take the big bucks and drop down a level to South Shields, who will no doubt expect to take the NLN by storm next season.

Most of our squad are good enough for Scottish Premiership. Few are good enough for League two teams then as you say NLN and NL they can earn more money at likes of Chesterfield, Barnet, Boreham Wood, Oldham etc etc.
Why would you want to play for a tight arsed chairman who pays you basically a living wage, when you could earn more on the buses or trains and less stress.

I,m so disillusioned i'm lost for words, can't think of anything positive to say, It's worse this time than the last time we dropped out at least then we didn't know what to expect but we do now.

Crawley were the better side sadly.
2nd goal from a defence perspective was bad but Telford took it very well.

As has been said only Sylla really played half decent and kemp form seems to have fallen off a cliff
Don’t think it’s effort they just aren’t good enough and are in desperate need of physicality at the back and pace up front.

We shouldn’t kid ourselves we will be anything but strugglers next season without a major overhaul, am shuddering still Murray and Lacey are still under contract next year.

Without being bitter (well maybe a little)what a non-entity of a club crawley are ran by wasters too, crowd size isn’t everything but to be beaten by a side with non league of that support is a crying shame, two proper clubs relegated.

Phillips just resigned from shields, expect they won’t have that much money to play with

Pruti, dodds, Sylla, umerah are good enough (and maybe Cooke) but the rest either want chasing or won’t sign up, is we are trying to retain the likes of Dolan and Jennings then you know we are fucked next year too

I thought Jennings might do a job In the NL. Umerah and Sylla will be gone in the summer I have no doubt.

do not think there is a great difference from the bottom of the 2nd division to the top of the NL. so if we have any real chance of getting into the play offs again next season we have to attempt to keep the few good ones we have and somehow get rid of the dross that took us down. its not mission impossible by a long way with a decent manager and a top 10 budget. there will be hundreds of players looking for a new club and its up to pools to sell the club to them.

I’d expect Jennings to have another year on his contract and I don’t think we have any choice over Dolan.

If any club comes in for ANY of those so called pros, They must be clinically brain dead.

You can only go so far with players he does not rate and want out of his site and the club as quickly as possible. something that he has in common with all of us. managers are a funny breed though and will he walk now he has a relegation on his CV. know they are not his players but the history books will always say that JA was the manager of pools when they went down in 2023.

Same as John Hughes really, he never recovered from taking us down to League two, relegation on his C.V. I know Askey had less time and a squad of players with a handful of league players, who clearly don't want to play or be in the North East. Apart from Dolan and Hartley, but that's different as it's their home town.
