What a fu**in shambles. Completely inept Pools. Prutti, Dodds not at the races. Newport not even good but we are making look like it. With Crawley winning I expect us to move mountains in the second. Do you want this Pools or not. Get a grip

Midfeild geting pressed, and harder for Dodds and Ferguson to get up the field in a 4-42, additionally zero pace at all in midfield or up front.
really missing Sterry and the combinations between him, Dodds and Kemp when all 3 are close by

Not sure what the answer is, though I do know its not Crawford----assume Mcdonald will come on in 2nd half but without major improvement its game over.
Really need to drop back into a 3 at back to let Dodds and Ferguson get higher up the pitch

I may regret writing this but it cant get any worse 2nd half

Better praying that Tranmere can at least get a draw as cannot see us getting anything today.

What the hell is happening First half stats:
Newport Hartlepool
Possession 41% 59%
Shots 14 0
on target 6 0
corners 2 0
As I have said before they must stop this ridiculous number of shots corners and today it seems throw ins please do something looks like some changes are needed.

its amazingly bad--like no one knows where anyone else is supposed to be

Get back to 5-3-2 and us doing what we had been doing the last 8 games

Part of this on manager and formation but big part on players who have been shote and havent worked for themselves

At least we won't be going to Vegan Eco Green next season. At least we can get a beef burger at Dagenham, Southend, Gateshead.

well that was an absolute fucking shit show !

Ratings

Keeper 7 MoM --kept score down

Ferguson - 5 poor
Dodds- 5, gave ball away way too much
Pruti 4 - worst game of his career, hopefully he learns from it
Murray 4 , men against boys up against Bogle, hopefully injury not too bad but exposes the myth he is good enough for this league
Foran (sub) 6 only outfiled player who did his job

Feather 3-awful did everything those who don't rate him said he does
Sylla 4 - Anonymous
Kemp 4 --as above
Cooke 5--constantly gave ball away

Umerah 5 -did nothing
Jennings 5 as above

Finney--looked decent when he came on

Manager 4---poor formation and team selection and incoherent subs

special mention for Bogle who showed what a good player he is when he puts a shift in--best player on pitch by a distance.

Very poor in every aspect of our game.
The worst being the lack of effort. :angry-tappingfoot:

Sad thing is, Salford will want to bounce back from the Colchester defeat and considering we haven't won there ever. Crawley & Colchester need a point and it's over in real terms. :angry-screaming:

They obviously care and disappointing so many had poor games all at the same time but the manner we just got overrun was a big let down.
Honestly the change in formation made little sense and felt like an attempt to show horn square pegs into round holes

Hopefully they surprise us at salford so the crawly game is all
To play for

Maybe my comments where a bit harsh. We have played well last 8 games. So I will wind my neck in. Like others said it’s the manner we played. I just hate how we just invite teams to attack us. Newport not a good side but it was the poor passing, bad decision making all round. So ok let’s look at a glass half full scenario and hope we can
Steel a lucky goal and defend like tigers. Even atheists can prey

Linseed Oil is the answer
Garden fence paint mix n end result is an Ivory Effect end product.
I recommend the harvest gold colour.

it was a baffling afternoon - a one that had Keith Curls stamp all over it - rash subbing of players with the wrong ones been taken off/on.

he was always going to get one game wrong - hes human but even i thought JA wouldnt get it as wrong as that given what we have seen of this new team over the last 8 games ! Newport where not as good as Stevenage or LO yet we made them look it !

shocking really and i just hope its out of their system for tuesday - we cannot afford to hit rough waters now and have some off games.
but seems like most did !

Umerah needs to do more - Jennings needs to get on the end of the balls that do come into the box - Dodds and Ferguson have to be utilised correctly and get us up the pitch - Finney again was decent for what it was worth and id rather see him start a game now ! Feaths needs not play tuesday as their midfield will have him for dinner - he really isnt good enough for this level anymore !

Just think if Cooke had actually scored (should have) early doors, could have changed the outcome.
