Watched the post match interview with Askey, he never cracks a smile, looks a bit like a sergeant major or headmaster type of fella, a bit like Nigel Walter Mitty Shithead, I don’t think I would want to get on the wrong side of him, looks hard as nails.

how did the ref do. only realised it was carl boyeson when i saw the highlights. usually he,d quite good unlike some of the present kids around doing the job. he,s been around so long that he was the one i attempted to copy in my years of reffing.

He was shite as ever. Gave Pools nowt - he got an ironic cheer every time he blew the whistle in Pools favour. Even worse was the constant stoppages - at one point he marked out 2 chalk lines for a drop ball! And let Swindon take the piss with fake injuries when they were hanging onto their 1-0 lead.

cheers, sounds another case of if you cannot beat em join em and spouting i was only following orders from the masters at the FA.
