A funny one this, Bradford, a team of which so much was expected by their own fan base and pundits, hover on the edge of the play off places and yet despite this have never really proven themselves to be what was expected of them despite their resources.
I can see a 1-1, depending on which team turns up and the fact they cam sometimes lose it, a funny one to predict.

it is as you have know idea if pools or them will turn up. they must be the most unpredictable team in the league and real underperformers. still going for my regular defeat 2-1 having to play against 12 men like last saturday.

I suspect Bradford’s problem was falling for the old soft soap routine of recruiting a ex Premiership player with some ‘managerial experience’…..

Pretty sure Hughes managed different teams for around15 years in the Prem.

Problem is, he'd never managed league two and had been out of the game for a long period.

He managed a few, but apart from Blackburn and Stoke, he never lasted anywhere more than a year… I stand by the old maxim that a good player doesn’t necessarily make a good manager, but there’s always a mug with money who thinks otherwise.

Hes in a tough spot as even if they go up, its tainted by not romping home with ease.

I think if we frustrate them in the first half their crowd could begin to get frustrated big time.

Heres to hoping!

Like everyone else, I am desperate for a Pools win but after three draws I suspect we are due a loss. 2-0 to the Bantams.

Not according to the Pools and Bradford official sites - audio commentary only.

Bradfords last 10 home games W4 D3 L3 goals for 13 goals against 11. So scored 1.3 goals per game and conceded 1.1 goals per game. If we can keep them to 1 no reason why we could not get a point or three

Another interesting stat is Bradfords last three home games W2 L1 total shots on target 7 goals scored 4 total shots on target against 6 scored 1. In the 2-0 win over Colchester City had 3 on target and scored 2 but Colchester had 4 on target scored 0. Against Barrow lost 0-1 City had 0 on target barrow 2 on target scored 1. Tranmere game City won 2-0 with 4 on target Tranmere 0 on target. To score 4 from 7 is deadly finishing but the away teams only got 1 from 6. Bradford had around 66% possession overall so looks like they not great at breaking teams down but are vunrable on break. I thought this was interesting but you lot probably think its totally irrelevant. bbolt

Look and take hope from the away game in February when we got our first away win of the season at Bradford and their fans were complimenting our support. Keep the faith NEVER SAY DIE

I had a free day so spent a couple of hours going through all the games at the bottom and reckon only Pools will get a result Rochdale / Creepy / Harrogate and Colchester will all lose.

We've drawn last 3 games and I reckon the 4th one is coming up - With a score of 1 - 1 and odds of 13 - 2

You obviously know better than Askey, Tony Sweeney and 5,000 home fans  you want to try actually coming to a game sometime.

Good to see good link up by Pools. Definitely an improvement. Final ball could be better but great goal. Sylla breaking up play as usual and Murray continuing where he left off. Strangely Kempy giving the ball away too often. But but it would be fantastic if we could carve out a result. There fans are getting pissed of with their team which is only good for us.

yeh Kemp, sterry, cooke, dodds link up is great

Sylla been excellent as well--Umerah strangely quiet

Hope we keep playing and don t just retreat like we did against Northampton as Bradford have some good players if we let them play

Great we have the HT like we did against Tranmere and Northampton. Wonder if the outcome will be the same? Bradford change their shape, Pools cant respond and the home side get at least one goal. Hope I'm wrong.
