Doncaster 0-3 Harrogate so now: perm any two from Pools, Rochdale and Crawley.

Rochdale worry me.

Rochdale have won one in about 20 games, against an out of sorts Stevenage.
Hopefully it was a one off.

I fear we had our chance with the run of easier games under Curle that were lost or drawn. Tranmere also another opportunity missed. We still need to buck the form book with an Askey revival of what still looks on paper and in results - a very very bad Pools side.

We’re heading into the toughest period for matches for Pools. We have to start beating teams we probably shouldn’t. Saturday is a massive game - Northampton have had a wobble in performance - we’ve got to hope we improve to a level that we’re yet to see this season, in order to get 3 points on the board.

The rumour of a longer term injury to Umerah certainly doesn’t help. I think we take all 3 at Tranmere with him there.

2 horse race now.
Pools or Rochdale
. Can see it going to G/D on final day.
Hopefully our last 2 home games with 2 big loud crowds can work in our favour just for a change.
The players owe us that.
UTP.

It's still too early to get the crystal ball out. Colchester have lost 3 on the bounce; Tranmere created nothing in open play on Saturday and the ref robbed Pools of 2 points with that penalty decision.

That said, it's got to be a win for us against Northampton.

Stockport also drawing 0-0 at home against Gillingham, I'd say completely confirms safety for them now.

Sadly this has how it's been all season. Watching other teams hoping they'll epically fail. It's a bit like fighting Tyson Fury and hoping he slips on a banana peel and knocks himself out.

An absolute shambles how many times we've failed to take initiative and win draws. Gillingham and Wimbledon at home immediately stick out. I suppose Tranmere can be added to the list as well (albeit not totally the teams fault).

What I like about Crawley, is there owners seem just unstable enough to do something really stupid like sack the manager at half time.

our goal differance up to crawleys is not as bad as it once was down to 3 worse off which could easily change on saturday.

I can see us needing a win at Stockport on the last day - said it when the fixtures came out and its rang true since

how bad will that be though - getting dropped by the manager who took us back up !

Unless we get a couple of very unexpected wins in the next four games I think we’re doomed.

DOOMED and MAROONED……

I’ve been through the remaining fixtures for the bottom six and every time I can’t see Pools getting much beyond 41 pts, although we live in hope of course.

So, it all depends on whether Crawley, Harrogate or Colchester get below that. Try it on thefishy.co.uk

If we don’t stay up we need to keep Askey as manager for me. Although we haven’t secured a win yet he has improved the team no end and needs to be given time to get us back.

think if we managed a single win in the next couple of games it would give the fans and players a big boost no matter what the others do. really the biggest difference last saturday between the teams was we made more mistakes than they did and stopping these stupid errors could give us what we all want.

Cant see us winning more than 4 games so still majorly relying on favours from other teams.

A reckon we will win 3, Theres only 4 Teams who have drawn more games than us, And i think we will draw at least another 3 or 4.

prefer to win 2 and lose two than getting 4 draws. bloody hate them especially at home no matter how the game panned out. its 2 po ints lost for me rather than 1 gained and getting loads of draws stop you going up and will send you down.
