Probably a fair result but I think if we'd been a bit more ambitious we could have taken 3 points. Not sure how Kemp misses that header at the end. Sterry looked so rusty. Thoughts Feaths was good when he came on. We move on

Tranmere's last 6 games record is 3 x 1-0 wins & 3 x 2-0 defeats - interesting!

They on average score 1 goal a game and concede the same.

Going for 1-1 draw and small bet to eat well tonight or go hungry!

Bang on the money - shall eat well tonight

Gray misses easy chance to go 2 up.
Kemp misses easy chance.
Bad decision from ref but 100% our own fault to blow 2 points.
Treading water at the moment.

Why do we have to put up with incompetent refereeing week in and week out. If a referee and linesmen can't tell if a foul took place in or out of the box then what chance have we got.
Listening to Eddie Kyle it was hard to tell if the referee actually knew when a foul was being committed never mind where it was.

He done well until his very clumsy foul just outside the box that was given as a penalty :angry-screaming:

The clues in the definition of the word opportunity……’A set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something’…….not nailed on, just a possibility…..if players scored at every opportunity we’d have basketball scores……the game is plagued by what if’s and if only’s, you could apply the same logic to your lottery numbers…after the event.

Well Grey understandable, he's not a goal scorer  and Kemp better buck up or he'll go back to MK Don at the end of the season, after only scoring 5 goals 7 games up to now. bbolt

Grey's chance was more challenging I think, just because of the height it came to him. Kemp I did expect to score but you can't knock the guy's record. Would have been a huge 3 points if he had put it in.

If you look at the highlights it's definitely outside. Murray never goes into the box at any point. That's football with lower league refs - decent shouts turned down and the iffy ones given.

the annoying thing is our points tally would be no better if he had scored yesterday and missed the ones he had scored. need these draws turning into wins starting next saturday. alternate results of win one lose one will see us safe but drawing every game will not.

r.epeat of our two then when i have seen both not given and another one given that was turned away. however how many times have defenders been given the benefit of the doubt when offences are committed close to the penalty area. if it was a club near the top most know the penalty would not have been given against them.

Considering Murray, Sterry and Cooke have not played for some time they did well.

Yesterdays ref gave plenty of very petty ''fouls'' both ways.

used the pause button on impact and its a few inches outside. i,d blame the lino for the decision as he should have been dead in line with it.

I reckon even SNOWY would of put 1 of those chances away.

I wouldn’t bank on it, I kicked Ratboy’s stuffed fox to retrieve the other day and went arse over tit…..laying flat out on the wet grass, our lass saw it and said…”why did you do that,?”

When Raj took over Hartlepool he brought Craig Hignett in as Director of Football. Higgy was happy with that role and should have been allowed to stay there, but got told to swap jobs with that massive arse Richard Money and got the sack as manager 9 months later.

Raj has revered to type with Lennie Lawrence in wanting an experienced football man to advise him. Might seem like a waste of money but it's preferable to the type of chairman who thinks he knows everything - like the owner at Crawley who sat himself in the dugout for one game a couple of months ago.

owners and chairmen just pick up bits and pieces from others in the game with little knowledge of whether they are right or wrong. eventually they see themselves as experts on the back of second hand information.
