Despite obvious earlier misjudgements I think Singh has done the right thing here. After the Stockport program notes fiasco and Curly's permanant appointment it would have been easy to just let the inevitable happen. Although we look doomed I think sacking Curle at least gives us a glimmer of hope that we could stay up if a miracle happened. Defo can't afford any more mistakes as we are at the last chance saloon now.

If go down all the Scots will go back North.
Likes of Sterry, Dodds, Ferguson, Umerah & Sylla won't want to play National League again.
The League two players, Jennings, Finney, Kiernan & Pruti; it will ruin their chances of playing in League 2 or higher. Considering they were brought in to keep us up.
The players need to play for themselves now and show the worthwhile of their quality. Keep us up and they get better deals elsewhere or take us down and get poor deals.

I think you are being optimistic about the Scots going north, are they all on 2 year contracts at the minimum ?

why wouldn,t dodds want to play in the national league next season. its still a division higher than he started this season in. if he plays well he can still move upwards and its the club would get less of an undisclosed fee for him by being a non league and not a league player.
