Singh has been our Saviour and destroyer. No one will want to buy us now. Unless we can hit the ground running next season.
I think If we keep, Dodds, Purti, Hartley, Ferguson, Cooke, Finney, Kiernan, Sylla, Crawford, Dolan, Grey, Jennings and Umerah. They could be a good foundation for a team to compete in the NL. With 2 good Goalies and the kids Stephenson, Darcy, Kitchen & Storey.

Unfortunately we'll keep Featherstone, Murray, Hastie, McDonald, Lacey, Paterson, Clarke, Niang, Ndjoli & Killip.

Unfortunately we won't have any money next season. Wasted it this season. They pretty much the best players we have on contract for next season.
A good manager will keep us afloat in the National League with these players. Question is can we get a good manager.
Answer No.

There is a substantial 2 year parachute payment for relegated clubs.

out of those mentioned i,d only want dodds, pruti, sylla, umerah and possibly cooke at the club next season. all those others would make next season another relegation battle. be interested where that load of has beens and never beens would end up if pools got rid.

When (not if) we get relegated the decent players will want away and you cant blame them. If offers come in for Umerah, Dodds, Pruti etc they will be sold and if they are not there will trouble. NL will be about rebuilding and will take a quite a while thats if the club doesnt go bust.

forgot now with all the comings and goings over recent seasons. who did the club keep when we were relegated last time apart from featherstone. things could be worse though, imagine being relegated with the highest ever number of points gained. at least we know that aint going to happen.

We kept Paddy Amond but he was sold to Newport soon after the season started....an undisclosed fee.

First off we need the right team in place... Manager - Coaches - Fitness

unfortunately I can see alot falling off again when we go down - Raj will have it in his head that he will give us those 2 seasons... once the parachute payments end, then i am afraid its curtains for this club unless a buyer comes in before then. Fan ran model wont work at this club as the towns full of idiots who think they could run a club but couldnt run a bath. No offense to anyone involved thinking about this particular model but the towns too small and deprived for this ever to become a real real success (maybe at sunday league level).

anyways if we can somehow get a good management team in - and keep hold of these mythical characters we seem to employ in the background doing all the sports science stuff then great (btw they have served no purpose as the lads on the pitch equally perform just as shite as they did before said people came to the club) - Trotter needs to be gone as tbh we need a real scout (although the money wont be there this time round again i wouldnt think to employ one) - be alot of deadwood chopped from the club again id imagine when we go down.

there is probably a team there ... out of those players mentioned who most would keep - that may just tinker along in the NL.. probs top 15 if we lucky ! its pointless even thinking about this an that as we all know it will be a fire sale and most will go or walk.

few of the daft PH signings robbing a living will be kept on and somehow we have to watch them get tortured week after week off the dog and duck - also cant wait for the many games to be called off due to a light dusting of snow or rainfall... god i hate this game at times !

Magnay, Oates, Woods, Hawkins, Harrison, Rodney and Deverdics were all retained for the National League.

Probably some others I've missed.

Think you only missed Liam Donnelly, plus Padraig Almond, who was under contract but knew he was League 2 standard and refused to settle for the NL, so had to be sold - to the club that just missed relegation at our expense, good old Newport County.

Matty Bates was theoretically available, but never played for us in the National League and instead replaced Craig Harrison as manager when he was sacked.

Trevor Carson, Lewis Alessandra, Nathan Thomas and Brad Walker all refused offers of new contracts and got fixed up with EFL clubs.

The shite we would start next season in the NL with doesn't bare thinking about. Hartley and Curle's contract follies.
