Don't know what the current state of Jeff's relationship with the Chairman is like, but after last night's fiasco he's had enough of Keith Curle.

Agree with him a proper manager is what's required, not Tony Sweeney.

when pools highest profile fan has publically stated enough is enough then somethings needs to happen. if curle could not sign even his second choice of player then why bother signing anyone no better than we had before. a kid from blackpool without even national league north experiance shows it all.

No you are not paranoid Mr Blue and you're not the only one thinking that way.

Don’t quite understand this line of thinking though. Surely Pools are worth more as an EFL club than an NL one. Or are we presuming the parachute payments are taken out the club before Singh’s departure?

Career car crash for Curle this also, who will employ him again outside of NL or NLN? To deliberately throw something also takes effort when in theory the players (albeit nowhere near good enough currently) should be busting a gut.

I think there’s no evil plot …..just good old fashioned Keystone Kops incompetence of the first order.

I agree it doesn't make sense but nothing much makes sense of our club's recent history so the old phrase of "nothing is off the table" becomes prominent.

No underhand plot involved - just a clueless Chairman who got lucky with Challinor, but has been shown to know sweet FA about the game since. Signed the dross no other clubs wanted (excluding Dodds and Kemp from this), got lucky a second time that Umerah managed a few goals early doors to stop Pools being adrift with Rochdale, but didn't build on this luck when he had a chance in January. Bet his care homes are nothing like what the brochure states.

I don't believe raj for one second wants to see us relegated, but I doubt we will see much of the parachute payments going back into the team. Probobly be on a trip to Portugal with about 8 players.
