I say the 6 points thing to myself all the time…when it goes tits up, being a poolie, I ‘recalibrate my expectations’ to the next six points.
It’s in the DNA.

Im pretty sure our last 10 seasons in the EFL we must have the worst home record by a country mile.
Back to back hone wins are like gold dust.
All started going tits up with the £100 Season Tickets (not that its an excuse).
We had about 500 ST holders who Dident even turn up.
Anyhow back to these 2 games.
Its the never ending Hope that does u napper in big style.
2 wins on the way.
UTP.

For a club that went out of existence and came back as trust owned club what a fine example Wimbledon are, An excellent new ground only the name connects it to their old ground which was dreadful .Well done for the hard work nthat must have gone on to bring this all about.

I couldn't agree more. They were a first division (Premiership) club for 14 years. Then when the money grabbers tried to move them to Milton Keynes, the real fans started from scratch as AFC Wimbledon. Now they're mid table D2 - which is where Pools belong (based on my long life) and where I'm hoping we end up next season. Fingers crossed and then we'll take it from there.

it did help em as they left their fanbase at home when they moved. gave em a good opportunity to re group and attract others who hated the MK Dons situation and joined their cause. if i,d have lived in the area without a great interest in another side i,d have joined their ranks.
