God what a pitiful team this is. Has literally nothing. Signed a boatload of players and none of them can defend.

Curle OUT.

Today has been an embarrassment. Literally never in this game. Commentator has us nailed - ‘comical’ ‘falling apart’. Pools are such an awful team it’s almost hard to believe at this point but it’s not being helped by a dinosaur of a manager. This second half we have 0 shape, you couldn’t work out the formation or tactics if you tried. The lump and hope for the best is all he has in his locker. It’s time for him to go because he will be equally as useless in the national league.

Appreciate it’s counterintuitive to slag the team and Manager off off but at this point I’m questioning following this incarnation of Hartlepool United. Led by a compulsive liar at the top also, awful.

At this rate we'll be lucky to get another 10 points. The town does have a good rugby team though as West have just won their EIGHTEENTH league game on the bounce.

KC will be sacked before tuesday.
By a Chairman who is equally as clueless as him.

Lets not forget this season was about top 3
Top 7 at the worst.
Not my words.
But from Sing n Stelling.

Another concern is the financial issue. The wage bill for a first team squad of mainly passengers must be horrendous. Obviously the vast majority will be gone at the end of the season but there will be a hell of a dent in the bank balance. I guess Raj gambled, hoping Curle would keep us up but gambling is a mugs game.

Just think...if we didn't give the opposition a two a two goal start every bloody game we would be out of the bottom two. Anyway, well done Dan Kemp. Nice not to get beat but the long term prospects haven't changed.

You have to question curle and his tactics he waits till 2 nil down and then brings on more mobile players and we dominate the last 30 mins.
2 cracking goals again how ever the goals conceded were so soft so frustrating.

Crawley only lost 1-0 away at Orient today and pushed Stockport all the way to only lose 2-1 last game. I don't think they are in free fall. They are fighting for their lives and got two respectable results away from home at two form teams. Now imagine if it was Pools with the same two fixtures. Even if we beat them at home (unlikely) they still would have two games in hand over us. i am desperate for any sign of hope but I just cant see any.

Went out for the afternoon, saw it was 2-0, didn't bother to look again. Then put 5 Live on in the car just before 5.30 and it's 2-2.

Will take that, as should all the people justifiably going their ends at 2-0.

The short-term job of staying ahead of Crawley and Rochdale till the end of the season is still on.

2 home games next and a minimum 4 points required. Crawley's next 2, home to Carlisle and away to Tranmere.

We weren't very good but we showed some fighting spirit. We all know we need wins but most of us would have taken the point pre game and even more at half time. Quality free kick! Hartley ducking their first goal and shrugging his shoulders and walking off was not a highlight. At least not a positive one.

I'm just enjoying the result tonight. Thoughts about the rest of the season can wait until tomorrow

Walsall and Newport tougher propositions than Crewe and Wimbledon. Wouldnt be surprised if we drew both games but it is hard to imagine us winning one of them and win we must.

Funny but I anticipated defeat as did most and walked away when it got to 2-0 but hoped we’d have managed a draw before the game….. we’ll we came back and got th3 draw but the our original team would have had no chance…..maybe as this group start to gel and know each other, Curle stops pissing about with the formation, we have an outside chance.
PLAY YOUR STRONGEST TEAM CURLE. We can see it, why don’t you.

Crawley were battered by Orient, they have got rid of all their experienced players and are left with kids.

Telford isn't getting a single touch in opposition boxes and their fans are calling on their manager to play their best CB up front.

After Carlisle at home Crawley have 3 tough away games, I don't think they'll get a single point from those 4 games.

Away to Crewe we were awful, a dreadful result as they were very poor. However Wimbledon hadn't been beaten at home in 8 games and rarely concede. Newport & Walsall at home will not be tougher for us, they are winnable games - I don't think anyone saw Wimbledon away as winnable.

Come 4 games time I would hope we are well ahead of Crawley and Rochdale and these games in hand other teams have don't look like a problem anymore. Time will tell.

Anything less is unacceptable.
Its as simple n basic as that.
Then hope Crawley do a Lincoln from years back and dont win anutha game.

just hope the team get some belief in the late comeback and build on it. others do but its pools we are on about. pointless getting a point down there to cock it up at the vic with a couple of draws. biggest gripe for me is the two goals conceeded amd please lets get some clean sheets starting tuesday night and nick it with a single goal. really its the defence and lack of midfield defenders who got us in this place.

Crawley may have been "battered" but they still only lost 1-0. As for you views on Newport and Walsall, I hope and pray you are 100% correct but I have my doubts.

We’re conceding a lot of goals and bad goals at that. The first 35 of Sutton and the first 45 yesterday are up there with the worst we’ve been all season. Good fortune in the Sutton game and a smash & grab at Wimbledon secure us a share of the spoils. Crewe a complet waste - due to poor discipline from Sterry.

Curle needs to find a formula and fast - two homes games versus Newport and Walsall are now must-wins. We have to start getting 3 points on a regular basis. Harrogate will pull away and Crawley have their games in hand. Aside from Doncaster away I am yet to see a full 90 good performance from a Curle Pools side. I think we’ve been very very poor for the duration of his management of the side.

I can’t work out what he’s trying to do aside from direct the players to hoof it and only try to play in the final third. Even then, we see an awful lot of Umerah chasing rather than winning flick ons & playing off him. Featherstone also needs a break from the side, bordering on cruel playing him at the moment, completely off the pace needed.

31 players have played for Pools this season and we’re still looking at the free agent market and unsure of our best team. That’s as big a sign of complete mismanagement from the top that you need.

What we do have at the moment is quality in Kemp and Dodds to pluck us a goal out of nothing.

The next two games are season defining. 6 points or bust.

We need to find a formula that keeps the back door shut.

Pools record in their last 7 away games is won 3, drawn 1, lost 3. That's pretty impressive for a side near the bottom of the table, and makes Jamie Sterry's moment of madness at Crewe all the more regrettable.

Our home form stinks at the moment and has got to get better, but '6 points or bust' is just hyperbole. What if we 'only' get 4 points from those 2 home games? Is that the season over then? To be fair, you've been saying as much for months, so you're nowt if not consistent.

Winning football matches is what keeps you in the division. The next two present the best opportunity for this versus an incredibly tough March, where I’m unsure where we pick up a single point unless something clicks soon.

Yep, shit or bust time for me. 6 points.
