Let's get it over with. Another defeat another nail in the coffin and another clueless team line up.

play Poolie Bingo, the first 11 squad numbers that come out will play never mind what their normal positions are.

Good news: They haven’t scored in 3 games!
Bad news: The 3 games were against Orient, Carlisle and Northampton and they drew 2…

Home banker.

They might not have scored or won at home all season but Pools would find a way to lose to them.

be like putting money on a one horse race. to give pools a fighting chance we should all put a big bet on a wimbledon victory.

TBH in true Pools fashion - we will do what everyone doesnt expect and go and grab a cheeky 1-0... ill stop dreaming now

yeh Wombles to put another few past us - not sure what team we will see - Dolan in at CB ? will Hartley return ?

no doubt see Clarke make a very shite debut

Just flicking through my catalogue of Pools disappointments and have come up with this. Pools winning 1-0 with ten minutes to go but losing 3-1 in the end with the last two goals coming in the 93rd and 95th minute. Oh and Pools miss a penalty which would have made 2-0.

Then lose our next two home games.!

Won’t bother with the Tees commentary on Saturday, the closest I’’ll get is watching a Wombles video……ALL TOGETHER NOW..

GOING DOWN, GOING DOWN, WOMBLES SCORE THREE,
THE POOLIES AT WIMBLEDON AREN’T TOO HAPPY,
MAKING NO USE OF THE WINDOW AGAIN.
LOOKS LIKE THE SEASON HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN.

UNCLE BULGARIA HE CAN REMEMBER THE DAYS,
WHEN WE ……etc, etc,

I'm going to this one! Since Plough Lane was our nearest ground when we moved South in the 70's, my Dad used to take us there. Now they have a new ground, and we're not likely to play there next season, have gone for the posh meal seats. It will ease the pain of another defeat.

2-0 but what the heck, it will be a good day out. Cheers all!

As we have no midfield are we going to just hoof the ball up to the new bloke in the penalty area Wimbledon style! Oh the irony!

Might as well as far away from our goal as possible.
Shows what you can achieve with a decent defence
They have scored 1 goal more than us this season.

Thought KC was out of order pointing the finger at the young lad from Aresnal
For the first goal, I thought he was our best player overall.

I thought Dodds was. It wasn’t his fault for first goal as usual there was lack of awareness and no marking on the guy who scored. If my memory serves me right Ferguson was ball watching.

Will our new striker need a mobility scooter as he 'flies' up the channels

Fergie has been appalling this season - even twanky dropped him for that pish he brought in.

if he was a PH signing we would all be wanting him no where near the first team.

id go as far as saying if we somehow manage to keep our league status id be looking for a new LWB

So Fergy will still be a Poolie next season.

I don't hide that I'm a glass half full type when it comes to looking in the old crystal ball, but if Pools lose more ground tomorrow I think the season is all but done.

I have a pretty strong feeling the season is already all but done. A few games still to play with the players going through the motions and KC trying hard to sound wise and experienced after each depressing loss. At the same time the players agents making phone calls to secure contracts with football league teams next season.

Imagine some fans with 3 games to go n we 8 pts behind will not concede. Mathematics regarding your football team can have serious effects on your mental health. :angry-tappingfoot:

Cant argue with that although some would argue that you'd have to have a screw loose to be lifetime Poolie. I admit it, I'm two sandwiches short of a picnic but I have a firm enough hold on reality to accept that relegation is an inevitabilty.

like the one where one team has to win, the other lose and the winner has to overcome the 10 goal difference between em. even the media gives a chance when no one in their right mind does. expect nothing today but by nexy saturday evening we need 4 points more from the two home games to give us hope of a chance.

I hope London Broncos RL team turns up instead of the football team and we might have a chance.
Remember when West Hartlepool RUFC played at Pools and you could have a pint on the terraces.

Started off well first 20 minutes and we actually had a midfield pressing their defenders. Then as per usual started dropping off and inviting their strikers to get forward pruti lacking any awareness let’s in their player to score . Ground hog day again we just never learn our lessons . Why doesn’t Curle get our midfielders to press so we are higher up the pitch. Does the bloke nit see what we see. Umerah chasing scraps. Curle just clueness . Does he not watch previous games and learn anything.
