I may be a bit naive, but instead of spending on a battalion of players would it not have been wiser to invest the total sum spent on quantity …..on four players of quality…. ?
The out come financially in the long run would probably have been cheaper as the players signed this window won’t be on minimum wage or the bread line.
We had a massive advantage last season when Lee went early to get organised for this season and still find it hard to comprehend how it did turn out……

Maybe or maybe not but i just wonder if a few quality players did not want to come to this part of the country.
I think now its too late to make any major changes as the die is cast. Lets just get behind the team, manager and management and see what the end of the season brings but that may not be good.

The club got the 2 Qs the wrong way round.

Should of been Quality before Quantity.

And the crank KC comes out with shite like the current squad is a lot better than before the window.

Hes absolutely clueless.
Probably has the ordasity to blame other people when he gets sacked.
I switch stations now when he comes on radio tees.
Cant abide his bullshit nonsense and under no circumstances does he ever except these horrendous results are ever down to him.
The sooner him n sing do one.
The quicker the rebuild can start.

It deffo wont be good.
The brilliant support is having no effects on the results.

I suspect that the late surge in signings was a bit of a panic reaction to the inability to sign established players at this level…..in the hope the fans would be impressed by the… ‘size of the army and not it’s fighting ability’… trouble is, you can only put eleven players on the pitch so the numbers are irrelevant.
I hope to God it works out for us, but…… ?

The issue is we needed both quantity and quality. All well and good signing 5 good league 2 standard players but what happens when the centre back gets injured? Back to Euan Murray. Pools are crying out for someone to come in and make sure we have a proper recruitment strategy where we aren’t needing to sign 10+ players every window

Come, come, that would require a strategy, a long term plan which would surely be indicative of anyone with a long term vision for the club.
We seem to be more suck it and see…and keep bailing.
I don’t believe there is even a short term strategy.

The chairman is well known in football circles, he has built himself quite the reputation. Good players are not exactly queuing up to play for him.

I had us down to get nothing from both the Crewe and Wimbledon games then 4 points from the following 2 home games, putting us on 30 points from 34 games, we really need to be matching our games played with points at this stage, therefore I can see us still in the bottom 2.
This would leave us with 12 games to save our FL status, unfortunately I have us down as getting only 3 wins and 3 draws from those games putting us on 42 points which I don't think will be enough, unless some other team implodes as well as Dale.
Would be more than happy to be proved wrong but can't see any other outcome I'm afraid at this moment in time.

Not Curle but Singh. It's him who's made this happen, like he did with Darlo. We all just have to wonder how much money Pools have made recently that has went into his new 'Care' Home. He's poison and he's taking Pools down but he won't lose 1 penny. But we will all lose HUFC.
PS.Where's Poolie1, Singh's mouthpiece? He's not been on here for a while.

From end of March when the die hards finally except relegation.
Can see the full Vic turning on Sing.
Protests etc even a relegation riot which will lead to the dummy out of Administration.
Hes always said he will leave when not wanted and under no circumstances should our angry fans have the blame put on them by a few messiah fans.
Plenty of warnings from our neighbours down the road whats most likely to happen.
I realize my views may offend a few or even lead to anutha bunker warning or a ban.
Past careing and wont set foot in tbe Vic again under this regime.
Imagine 2000 other poolies will go into boycott mode.

Simple thing is instead of looking at those around us at the bottom as some do, you have to forget about them, WE have to start accumulating points, it’s as plain as that.

Raj Singh had every opportunity to make this club successful, he had a manager the fans loved , crowds of 5500 to 6000 despite not being able to win away games, a pretty decent team that needed a little bit of investment. What did raj Singh do? Nothing but piss everyone off. You know you have problems at a football club when physios don't even wanna be there, warning signs were there from a mile off.

The club is run like a national North side. The only thing they seemed to of managed to do in the last 2 years is change the seating in the millhouse, they haven't even been arsed to change the rink end seats, which they would of got the money back on by the extra fans, from Bradford, grimsby, stockport maybe.

god this is really depressing. surely its not time yet to get out the white flag and fly it. snowy is correct by saying there was too many new faces signed in the window and for me wholesale changes is too late as time is needed to bed players in. we moaned about the poor pre season we had and late signings then, so what do fans expect the transfer window would be any different. then fans were constantly calling for another goalscorer when if you look at the goals conceeded you know where the problem really is, the defence and lack of the box to box midfielder. singh needs to come clean even though it may not be good listening about himself and how far he can or will really go for pools. no more tons of bullshit but the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I’ll agree with most of that except for Challinor. He was off regardless of whatever Pools offered and I don’t blame him for going for more pay and to be closer to home, it’s not rocket science. Pools were never going to be able to better Stockport’s new owners offer, we just aren’t in the same money league.
