The red card from the angle we get to see looks extremely soft and really ruined the game for pools. The most disappointing thing is Crewe look absolutely twatful and with 11 men we probably would have got something tonight. Foran has been really good I must say.

The lack of effort from pools players was cruel to watch.
Painful.

Problem is, it’s not about just getting something out of games now. We needed a revolutionary January transfer window to turn draws and defeats into wins.

It’s back into miracle season. Crawley 3 games in hand. The PPG we likely need to overturn is too much. We’re toast.

Gutted about this one, felt it was a must win
And we never really got a proper chance

Only one man to blame tonight - Jamie Sterry. Let everyone down and will now miss another three games. It sums up his season - half fit and half-arsed. You can blame Curle and others but Sterry cost us big time. Those who think he’s the best right back in our league are totally deluded. They’re the same people who said Ferguson was the best left back in the league. They’re two of the biggest reasons we’re deep in the shit.

Right there with you… but just go through the results of this season and try make a case other than to say we are comfortably the worst or - at a stretch - the second worst team in this division. Of the 30 different players who have started for us this season, we will look back in horror at the vast majority of them.

And Omar Bogle finds his scoring boots. I fear the worst.

Fergie, yes. Sterry, no. On his day, Sterry is class.

If a defender cannot commit to a tackle as he did this evening, then the game is 100% gone. I’ve questioned his temperament before but think he’s been done by a fraud of a referee this evening.

Sterry went in with his back turned and his foot high. If it had been a Crewe defender doing that to one of ours we’d have been screaming for a red card. It was a tackle he didn’t need to make.

Just how often this season has he shown his class? He’s hardly played, he’s not fit and he’s living on a reputation from a year ago.

When we go down he will go to a team either just promoted from our league or a big spender in our league pushing to go up
Yes he’s been injured a lot this season but that’s hardly his fault ffs

Oh we are shite sadly no doubt about that, even when we beat rochdale we could have lost before the sending off.

We've got better players now that we started the season with. That's not saying much but our problem now is that what we've got has to gel as a team. You could see tonight - they haven't got a clue. No one knows who's in charge, they can't read each other and they don't know each other. Who was captain tonight? I couldn't see one. Curle making wholesale changes at half time like he's a national manager with a squad of 20 geniuses doesn't help either.

Maybe stop making videos, pissing time away in the gym and get out on a pitch with the defence for a few hours before Wimbledon eh? (just so they have an idea of what they're supposed to be doing for a living).

I’m afraid big dog your right. I have thrown in the towel. Singh saved us but let one of the greatest managers we ever had leave us. The buck stops with him. I don’t blame Curle I believe he is doing his best but the players play like headless chickens every week. And it’s just down to lack of quality

I get it, from your repeated replies regarding Sterry you don’t rate the bloke, but that’s nonsense….rhe tackle deserved a yellow card at most, the player went down too easily and the referee showed his naivety by rushing enthusiastically across brandishing a red card within milliseconds.
The trouble last night was the midfield again and why Curle insists on leaving out Sylla was a complete mystery to me.

It’s over. As above, the games up. Pools gone and I’m blaming one man. He saved us, but he’s also made an abomination of our return.

From the moment DC left, we’ve been a car crash. Debacle after debacle. Only the Pools fans are deluded enough to cling to some sort of hope.

Thing is raj Singh has shown no appetite to spend on the team after promotion with 5500 to 6000 fans showing up regularly, so what hope do we have if we're relegated and getting 3500. The man has proven he is utterly clueless at running 2 football clubs now.

We must have the biggest squad in the league unfortunately quantity not quality, Singh must be paying out loads on wages.

Would love to know if our bloated wage bill could have done something to keep Oates, Odusina, Molyneux, Byrne, R.Johnson… or could have signed Armstrong, Danny Johnson or Hawkins.

Clarke is on a contract based on goals scored and games won, so doubt he’s gonna make much.

Our wage bill won't be massive we have just bought ridiculously cheap. 3 of our players probobobly amount to someone that plays for a mansfield or the like. Fans are once again been fooled into thinking we have a large bill, we just have too many shit footballers on crap wages.

6 points to play for against Newport and 3 against Crawley. These need to be wins now otherwise my already low faith in is staying up will become 0

for me sterry is somewhere between your assesment and loyal fans. he is an above average right back or wing back at our level but somewhat overated by some. goals given away last season mainly came from his side and now with ferguson having a poor season they come from the left. as for his tackle last night early in the game i,d have thought a yellow should have been given along with a severe warning that any second foul would result in a second one no matter how minor. then take sending offs a step further, would we have got anything last saturday without their bloke being sent off.
