Can someone explain why an investigation into claims of bullying by Dominic Raab has been going on since November with comments today that this will take a further few weeks to conclude.

Jesus wept I would expect the findings to take no more than 10/14 days (and that's a few days too many) as the Barrister has only to interview the official 8 complainants - surely this can be done more quickly.

A bit far left this thread, no doubt officer Derwent or chief constable Irrelevant will soon deal with this "breach of civility".

Officer derwent eh, it has a certain ring to it. I'm sure the chief constable will be flattered with his promotion.

The problem with that is he will make more money by losing his seat than he will make by keeping it.
I'd like a small percentage of what Tony Blair has "earned" since his days as PM were ended.
Can anyone seriously be bothered about a few civil servants whingeing about bullying and, as for defending Raab, why would anyone do that. Us Poolies have more than issues like that on our minds at the moment. He's a big lad, he can defend himself.
Like Snowy says, these people wouldn't last five minutes in a real job.

Raab to me looks like he hasn't got a very powerful brain.

I obviously didn't make the point clear, it wasn't about Raab as such but the length it takes to conduct an enquiry. The same applies to court cases where they can drag on for months.

It appears the only people making the money and no doubt dragging their heels are the legal profession.

Whatever you may think of Boris; either him or Penny will lead the tories into the next election. It’s already lost but those two can limit the loss to somewhere near respectable.

Muardant might do but Johnson is still being investigated for lying to Parliament, if found guilty his days of being an MP are finished, will he want the job as he up until now has made around £5 million from speeches etc ?
