Rap songs wont get banned, they're mainly done by non whites so they get away with using the "n" word and such like.

Funny how a humourless minority decide what’s acceptable and public bodies and business cave in to these whining whims.
When’s Bohemian Rhapsody getting banned…after all a gun was held against head and a trigger pulled till they were dead….same thing surely sctatchinghead
So who complained? :angry-tappingfoot:

This is not just a woke thing, metal and rap have been banned/blamed for all manner of things by people leaning to the right (devil worshipping/ gun violence etc).

Extremists on both sides have far more in common with each other than they realise.

The following programme contains scenes featuring a white heterosexual couple which some viewers may find distressing. :hand:

All the Young Dudes, Mott the Hoople believe it or not, a victim of censorship due to the free advertising clause, and in the case the beneficiary was the British retailer Marks & Spencer. Songwriter David Bowie’s lyrics mentioned “Wendy’s stealing clothes from Marks and Sparks,” a slangy reference to the retailer. It was subsequently changed to “Wendy’s stealing clothes from unlocked cars” so the BBC would play it. Oddly enough, the BBC had no problem with the song describing a criminal act. Go figure.

most lyrics to songs go through one ear and out the other. infact you have to look em up to find the correct ones and some words get mumbled sounding like another one. peter kay did a sketch on this and it will be somewhere on you tube. a bet there are many hymns like onward christian soldiars that will upset the pacefists as well. just live and let live and allow people to do stuff thats totally legal. why wasn,t delilah banned when it first came out if the words were that bad. other records have.

too true. we do not want kids watching stuff because its the vast majority involved. if they want to ban anything then end the postcode lottery where people buy tickets in fear of being the one missing out in their street.

My thoughts go out to all of the Welsh people who were murdered and would still be alive if Tom Jones hadn’t sung Delilah.

My deepest sympathy go to all zero of them.

Those of a certain age will remember a Pools forum being closed down for such a thread. Mutely was ultimately to blame. :)

Thinking about it, Alex Harvey did a brilliant cover version of this song. For the younger people on here, he was a one off, super talented, very theatrical 70s Rocker - and well worth checking out.

Young Girl, Sweet Sixteen etc, etc. My old man said follow the van and don't dilly dally on the way. Off when the team with the Pools in it. We visited Darlo in half a minute. We dillied, we dallied, we avoided the alley. Lost our way and don't know where to go, 'cause we're Poolie people who wear boots, we're the nicest in the league United United.

Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

Faith Healer is one of the best songs, That I watched on the Old Grey Whistle test. From that era.

In the part of the stadium I was in on Saturday there was only one half-arsed attempt to get a Delilah singalong going, but in the pubs after the game everyone was belting it out. The only thing that united the Welsh and Irish fans more was watching the Jocks turn over the English on the pub TVs.

Glad to hear that, as that is exactly the way it should be.

Fans of any sport should rightly be partisans when it comes to their local and national teams.
