People saying why have the Yanks not just shot it down?

Now think about it, this is a balloon apparently the size of 3 large buses eminating from a country where coronavirus was supposedly born, now would it be wise to shoot it down when you can't be sure what's in/on it?

Send it over Seaton and we can scramble the air force from Greatham airfield.

The US has now shot down four of these things - and HM Govt now announces that it is going to have a think about it.

Irrespective of whether it is the Chinese or extra-terrestrials, they'll be in Whitehall before Raab can shout at or threaten any of them.

makes me laugh to think something that has potentially travelled the galaxy undetected coming into earths orbit and then 20k feet off the ground to be shot down by some pistol pete in his F16 - the conspiracy theorists are going to town over all this.

it is a bit odd though.... i get it with the fist one being a lost weather balloon from china (clearly a spy sat thats messed up). As there was visuals on it and also live footage of it being downed - but these others ? smoking gun... ???

The media are making a mountain out of a mole hill…..nobody gave a toss before when these things happened, but once the media get their teeth into something you have to feed the beast!……plus sleepy Joe will do it to look tough as elections are on the horizon and he wants to stand again

NASA have now confirmed that one of the balloons was the ball used by Harry Kane for his penalty miss against France.
