Believe you can move mountains today because a surplus of effort from every
Player can overcome a deficit of confidence and skill. If your the goal keeper, you command your box, you communicate like a leader to your defenders and your reflexes are shit hot. If your a defender you win every tackle, if you or your colleague loses the ball you battle like tigers to get it back. Your never loose site of picking up players and marking tight and you take no chances with your distribution. You play the ball along the floor when you can and have the vision to find your team mates in front of you. Your midfielders press forward together and are not timid . You have the opposition on the defensive
And you find your strikers with ease. Your strikers need to shoot on sight, not be timid. If you shoot and the goaly parries your running in for the rebound . You run with energy and committment for 90 minutes. If any of your colleagues are slacking tell them . Listen to the crowd roaring you on, your mind set should be that you are unbeatable because what you think becomes reality. We the supporters ask for 100% drive, committment and endeavour. I expect everyone to get a 9 or 10 out of 10 today when the pundits review your performance. The supporters are willing you on to win today. We want 11 heroes today so go out and do it. Never say die should be in your DNA.

Brave talk, but I have no faith in these contractors…….sadly, they don’t seem to share the supporters beliefs.

All I want to see now is 100%, every game. If we go down fighting well so be it! Lack of skill I can forgive, endeavour never. Endeavour is the mother of success.

Agree with you there, 100% effort can compensate for skill to an extent, I just think most of them have a heart the size of a pea.
It’s a job to them, it’s the world to us.

It is wonderful sentiment but the main stumbling block to all that is eleven other people who have also been galvanised by the same sentiment and are hell bent to deny the opportunity to us to carry out the sentiment.
At the end of the day the fine lines are dictated by whoever wants it most and are willing to bust every gut, stretch every sinew and sweat blood to prevent the catastrophic inevitable tears that failure brings.
Are we up for it is the big question. Let's hope the answer is....YES WE ARE.

bit more shithouse behaviour from the players and a few more yellow cards would not go amiss either. bet teams love playing us as we are far too soft and nieve.

Imagine Billy Paynter in this team.
Hed turn the pitch into Wrestlemania.

No way would these bunch of wimps get away with these latest displays of total dross.

Where was Joe Grey yesterday? He has more passion than all the others.

I gather he was injured. I suspect he wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome.

certainly not as a starter but does bring more energy on the pitch if he comes on with half a hour to play.

just compare their behaviour to ours yesterday and you get the answer. their number 22 and 34 were asking for a good bookable tackle on them to give em something to remember but they got nothing. how many of us would have loved to take em out and be seen as heroes with the fans.

Runs round like a headless chicken, Joe Grey is not the answer, other clubs blood their youngster in the leagues below to see how they do, ours hit 18, we chuck them in the deep end and wonder why they aren't up to it, Grey is the next Steven Istead.

another whose career went backwards after challinor left. he used the young lad very spareingly and since a decent prospect has been ruined.
