I am not able to buy a digital version of the Rochdale programme from todays match.

Anyone know what Raj said in the programme notes?

I quoted part of it a couple of hours ago on the Pools v Rochdale thread, but just for you here it is again:

Raj's programme notes made interesting reading. Says Pools are in for "four top strikers. Two from League One and two from League Two." and finishes with "I sincerely hope one or even two of these signings come off and I can prove all these doubters wrong."

He also says 2 of the 4 forwards we're in for are already in double figures for goals for the season - so one of them is Johnson, who has already knocked us back according to Keith Curle.

If one is Danny Johnson then I think the other is either Alfie May, Luke Armstrong or Andy Cook.

Be a tough ask to get any of them but lets see!

Would of made more sense.
Football n Financially to bring Armstrong to Pools last season.
Plenty of good talk coming from the Chuckle Brothers.
Lets see it turn to action.

Both Curle and Raj talking the talk. Can they walk the walk?

If we are seriously due a triple signing announcement tomorrow then fair play to them both - I just hope we are talking genuine League 2 quality footballers coming into the building.

Yesterday was do or die. And we live to fight another day. Some smart additions and we may well take this to the final day. My eyes very much on Crawley and Rochdale as our genuine relegation rivals.

Believe it when I see it. Lot of talk of good players coming in. But that's all it ever seems to be.

In reference to Crawley…. they appear to have been in the doldrums dice John Yems was sacked in May last year and recently banned till June 2024..
Wonder what effect it had on their current form.

Is being 'a doubter' better or worse than having 'postage stamp knowledge'?

Both statements a manager n chairman should not make public about our fans.
The customer is never wrong phrase comes to mind.

About 11 days without a new signings.
Im more reclined to Crawley imploding onto a bad run to save our bacon.
Today could be the day we resolve our future by signing that much needed Goal Machine. sctatchinghead

pools are hampered by lack of backroom staff and KC might miss that important phone call from a big european club for their strikers .

The only way Raj will prove the doubters wrong is by keeping his word and bringing in the players needed. He has been the same in all transfer window saying we have to wait, why should we if genuine offers are on the table get the deals done and do not make paltry excuses as to why deals have collapsed on the final day as you have done on several occasions.

We have signed 4 players who have immediately impacted the first team, now this 5th signing looks like he is if the same mould.

Very highly rated by Leicester and just 2 weeks ago played a full 90 for Fleetwood in their 3rd round FA cup win vs QPR.

Another 3 players in of an attacking nature and this will without a shadow of a doubt have been our best transfer window under Raj.

Although it's great we won on Saturday, we have to remember they are possibly the worst team in the country and had 10 men for 40 minutes. I think we should wait till we play a few better teams before we make judgements on a good transfer window. It's only just over a week since we capitulated at Gillingjam. Let's be honest though it would be difficult to sign worse than what we did in the summer so that has to give us hope that we will improve.

I agree we were poor against Gillingham, Yet still could and should have scored at least 2 goals.

Stop drinking parrafin n screenwash from Snowys car.
Since promotion every window has been cheap n nasty with plenty of nearly excuses.

Appears the 2 ‘top’ league 1 strikers were Tom Hopper, now of Colchester, and Harvey Saunders, now of Tranmere. Neither exactly scream that they were the players to get us out of this.
Over to you Andy Cook…

That or Cook himself wondering why a club who's 22nd think they have any chance of landing him...
