Missilou also gone, Cooke injured. The next thing you know we'll be playing centre halves (Dolan doesn't count) in midfield cos we have run out of midfielders.

Shelton always gave 100% and I respect him for that, but the NL is his level. Stupid to pretend he was worth hanging onto.

I agree he always gave 100% but in the FL I think he is lacking an extra bit if quality, good NL player, average FL player. Can't really understand the twitter meltdown about his leaving, not like he's a prime Tommy Miller. It probably more boils down to the lack of numbers already available to choose from. All the best to him anyway.

Struggling to fill the bench, so what do we do release two players before another 6 pointer, no matter how good or bad mark shelton is and he is a lot better than some of the shite we have signed this year. This is once again another ridiculous money orientated decision. Get them off the payroll.

Box to Box, Now lets see who we have left to fill that role, Err

Cooke Nah crocked, The other Cook Nah crocked, Niang Nah crocked, Crawford Nah crocked, McDonald Nah gets the ball and stands still.
Fearthers Nah not got the legs, Dolan Nah not got the legs/Pace.

Anybody in the Womans team?

You’re dead right he’s a good NL player and and average league player but given that majority of the squad are poor NL players then this makes no sense. In isolation, if we were having a half decent season, then no one bats an eyelid at this transfer but in the context of this season, Cooke’s injury and Misoulo also leaving the club today, then this is a baffling as it gets unless we have a good replacement lined up.

Nothing surprises me anymore about how this club is run! If Shelton was going and missilou has left most clubs would have something lined up...we shall wait and see.

Niang was on the bench last week so I am guessing he is available. The other Cook, not heard owt about him for a long time. Thought he had left/ retired was generally gone. Do you know something?

Keith Curle made mention of Jordan Cook in the official Twitter feed today. To be honest I'd thought he'd left the club as well. Maybe this is in leiu of a new signing.

I liked Shelton as part of the squad. If he is National League level as some say we'd have need him next season.

Jordan Cook has been with the club trying to get fit all season. He's not got a contract and still isn't fit enough to play matches, so it's a bit of a red herring, but the Radio Tees bloke asks KC about him in the pre-match interview on the OS. Anyway he's a forward.

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Mo Sylla, who is fit and playing regularly. Guess it'll be him, Featherstone and Dolan in midfield tomorrow., with Niang and McDonald on the bench.

I assume Curle is only allowed to sign players providing others leave.

never really minded him coming off the bench. at least he put some effort in and its a pity he was not good enough. cannot wait for a Hastie Gone greeting me in the morning.
