Been told this morning that Raj has accepted an offer for the club, and that it's going to be announced in the next few days.

Not sure how reliable the source is though, has anyone on here heard anything similar?

Sounds like a decent fit. Did their bid measure up to Raj's expectations. If so I expect a deal to be tied up. I don't want Kenny Jacket to be manager, although his credentials do measure up.

Raj has been in Dubai ... this adds weight to maybe a business meeting of such and the sale of the club.

the only solid rumour i was hearing that sounded good as of late was that he had come to an agreement with the council to buy the ground.

still i have not heard anything else on the matter and thought over the weekend there may have been more coming out especially with so much folk in the council - although it may be under and NDA ?

but like all good business dealings - if the ground has potentially been given the green light for ownership by Pools id imagine the suit direct deal having impact on this... either being a reason to aid in the sale or Suits direct having some say and should they buy the club they want the ground as part of the deal

all adds up for me but tbh...heard shite like this before and it couldnt of been further from the truth

I've heard (allegedly) that a deal isn't close & stories of news breaking within days far from the truth. Apparently, they have been in talks & some at SD are advising against, the EFL have also supposedly been involved in possible takeover proposals up to this point.

The amount that would need writing off or covered (i.e Raj's current loan/investment) to start from scratch is the rumoured sticking point (no shock here obviously...)

Raj would lose an absolute fortune if we lose our EFL standing.
Unless of course he already has most of it back.

Theres been allsorts of Rumours flying about since pre season to now.
My take is Sing will of clawed back his original investment plus a bit more.
Did hear a rumour months back that he stands to make money if we go down.
Parachute payments!
A betting syndicate to cover relegation!
One final ST Sales pitch of the summer budget will get us back in the league then bail out.!

All rumours n speculation but what do you expect the Ammount of shit some cranks put on social media.
New owner is the only way upwards for me.
I reckon Dave Chall will back me up on this as well as the shitload of former employees of HUFC.
Who knows WTF will happen.

It’s a bit late for the mythical Moneybags Sheikh of Arabique, even if he turned up, to throw money at us.

Does the company behind Suit Direct have any money? Sufficient to fund a football club? Sufficient to pay the current owner? And as Mr Snowy says, is it too late even if they have the monies?

We have four options

1. A miracle…… Forget it!

2. Three up from the Conference….. comes under miracles…forget that too!

3. Sheikh of Arabique turns up and throws money at club…….. Miracle territory.

4. Kev wins lottery and shows his credentials at reception……… Arrested.

Heard some rumours about an offer being rejected as recently as Wednesday: heard some names too and, frankly, the word 'b*ll*cks' came to mind. Hope I'm wrong.

Seriously £4 million would be a fantastic offer.

We do not own the ground and there is no way you would get 4 million if you sold off all the players. If true what the fuck is Raj basing his asking price on.

He,s basing it on, wait for it..................."Value for Money"

And people will still be buying tickets, Even tomorrow.
When you get to the ground ask to see Raj and just say Value for money.

Anyone wanting to buy pools should wait till May and get it for way less.

On the Real EFL website: "Hartlepool United have rejected a takeover attempt by an unknown party in the last few days according to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon.
According to the transfer guru, a local consortium approached the club with the intention of buying it to inject new cash and ideas into the struggling club. The group however saw the approach rejected outright after consultations with owner Raj Singh and other board members."

No mention of how much was offered or who is behind the bid. Let's hope the bidders go public with their offer so no-one can get away with smoke and mirrors.

An offer in the middle of the transfer window is likely to put a spanner in the works regarding signings I‘d imagine. sadx

So maybe there was something truth in the £7 million asking price sending the Americans to Wrexham.
What could of been and where we are now.

I’d say it’s a nailed on cert….feck knows where that leaves us now.
Surely they must have known that negotiations at this point in the season would cause absolute chaos putting everything up in the air for it inevitably to come crashing down to Earth, this was not the time to be focusing on takeovers, because if we have to carry on with what we’ve got, the club is shafted…. we needed the team sorting out first…..SAFETY FIRST.
I really do despair.

There was also a rumored takeover bid in the summer.
This could be the reason for the cheap n nasty existence of HUFC.
Or the sing is just a complete and utter greedy bullshiting nice person.
Id say about 99% of our fan base can see the full picture now.
Some of his biggest fans have now turned full circle.
Football is a fast moving buisness and you have to go with the flo to compete.
Promotion n Saviourship.
A classic case of that was then but this is here now.
Almost Oblivion. :angry-tappingfoot:

Probably explains the disappointing TW.

He still wouldn't of spent anything on the team, since we signed Armstrong on loan, his managing the club has been piss poor. Let us not use this as another excuse.

It’s not an excuse, it’s obvious we’re up a creek without a paddle, but highlighting the madness of allegedly indulging in takeover negotiations during the transfer window, would be a massive distraction and totally chaotic.
I see no signings of any consequence and frankly didn’t see any coming in the first place, my disillusion is complete.
