Heart says Home Win.
Head says Away Banker.
So probably a draw.

Do not fear by the time Saturday comes along we will have another 4 top notch players signed up. Probobly from the league of Wales, half the fan base will no doubt do cartwheels saying how great these players are despite never playing in the football league and the other half will just throw the towel in. Be like deja vu from last week.

by the time we know the result of the colchester game we will have some idea of whether we have any towels left or not as we will know what we will have to watch for the rest of the season.

Fight n Effort
Something this current team lacks massively.
The Manager is responsible for that.
The 2 main things that can sometimes overide skill n flair which we dont have.

If the Manager /Players only had the same values and principles of our brilliant fanbase we wudent be were we are now.
In my theory dont win this game and its Game Over.
I watched the last 30 mins of Bradford v Rochdale last week and everyone of the Rochdale players ripped there bollocks of to get that win.
I fear the worst but Hopefully not.

imagine a year ago someone telling us we would have a 350k scottish striker on loan - a 250k former rangers winger.... we might have been getting a little bit too excited..... dear me just shows what actual value there is in football these days and how things are so wrong.... plus how much bad shit luck we have !

If Hastie is worth 350 K how much must Mansfield be asking for Johnson? Got to be a at least 750K.

most fans are there for life but players and especially managers are only with us for a short time. they may put effort
in but many unlike the fans will not go the extra mile for the club. best way to describe this from a fans point of view is when you attend a non pools game which i imagine many exiles do, as fans i doubt you give it all or have the same interest no matter how good the game is. the biggest pity is that we haven,t 22 lads who live and dream pools have not got the ability to be pro footballers.

All that’s left is hope…..but hope can be very corrosive to the spirit after a while.

50/50 it will be off but if it is it may be a good thing. We need to strengthen.

We’ve played and beaten them recently so I’d rather get this out of the way.
Interestingly been very quiet all week despite this being a season defining game…

Forecast - 3 tonite.
Game off.
Gives Rochdale an advantage in rearranged fixture as they will recruit better than Pools.

MET Office not as brutal as -3. There has been no pre-match presser this week though, maybe we know the game is off?

I think fans have given up on our current regime and seen through them now. I'd hazard a guess darlo scarjorough and South shields are recruiting better than us.

thats a bit OTT as all 3 would jump at any pools players even the ones we think are crap.

Now, now Kev, I never mentioned Pools. It appears the running total for players we should have has passed the fifty mark and every club and overseas including Kabul Wednesday in the Afghan Premiership have signed more than us. l

I think we would jump at Gary liddle compared to what we have had to endure this year, as for them jumping at any player we have? Maybe 17 month ago, I do t see many enquiring to take any on loan. The difference between our squad and a darlo will be minimal now. This squad would go straight through the conference.

With all the so called backroom staff, I’d like to know how we’ve managed to come up with mostly duff managers.
Thank god we aren’t an airline and they’re picking pilots. :angry-tappingfoot:

Well the chairman hadn't even heard of the last manager apparently, I wonder why they were so keen to get him then?

Weve been managerliss for 12 weeks last year.
To negotiate bringing in Lee n Hartley.
That must be a new record for an EFL team.
Chairmans obsessed with keeping the payroll down to the bare minimum.

honestly if you believed in conspiracy theories you,d get the impression someone was running the club into the ground for some reason. they say fans no nothing but i,m sure most know more than these screwing money out of the club that every fan puts in.

3-1 and a little breathing space. In Keith I trust cas doubt anyone else could do a better job given the mess he inherited with this squad this budget and this chairman.

I will leave my decision to go or not until after lunch tomorrow. If I do go it's more out of curiosity than hope.

Well it depends what you mean by "players". Could Murray and Hastie be described as such?
