I've been told that Paul Elliot, the former Chelsea and Celtic defender and a group of investors have come together to take over an English club. I wonder if they might be interested in Pools.

Imagine following in the footsteps of Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth. In a few years time it could be us beating Liverpool 3 nil.

When investors make an investment they want a return on their investment, Pools can’t provide that.

Generally speaking, running or owning a football club is a hobby or labour of love….. if you’re looking for a profit give it a wide berth……even though there’s always a mug who thinks they can.

Funny how many fans swallowed his guff Kev…, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
When we played Morecambe away at the end of the season, we were all sat in Kirkby Stephen having breakfast a convoy of ‘free’ coaches drove through someone said it was either the best thing that’s happened to Pools or we’re gonna be red faced.
He’s never let me forget it. :laugh:
