Winding up order over unpaid taxes. Poor fans.

yes the poor fans who never caused the situation to happen but will suffer the most. seems many clubs only want em for the money with the treatment they get nowadays.

That is a shame, I've quite enjoyed watching those IronArmy videos on YouTube, the guy who makes them is a good listen.

Forget owners, managers, players… the only constant is the fans, we have nowhere else to go.
What a gut wrenches.

It's not the end for Scunny just yet but they need the stalled takeover to go through pdq.

Thats right. How many times have Pools been the subject of winding up petitions from the Inland Revenue over the years? We survived them and I suspect Scunny will as well.

growing up they were always on our level but a little better is how i remember them
Remember players like Daws and Flounders up front for them scoring a lot, then us somehow losing 4-1 against them when they had Alan Knill at the back (think it was them)
Even when we started getting better under Turner, i recall Guy Ipoua tormenting us.

Genuine shame the way its happened, seems like more of the traditional northern clubs going this way.

Dosent seem that long ago when they just missed out qualifying for the play offs to the Premier League.
Talk about capitulation.

a warning to other clubs fans who are on a high at the moment. only needs the money men to walk away, a few bad decisions being made and they could be the next. as for their new ground it aint a patch on the old show ground and its location.

actually since they entered the league in 1950 their record is far better by pools having played in the second tier which is now something we can only dream of.

A tribute to the school of sheet metal and breeze block football ‘stadium’ design…..as welcoming as a drive through crematorium..

The Chairman is struggling with his own legal issues brought about by his gambling thousands if not millions (supposedly his own money) on everything but football! Now suing the bookies for allowing him to lose so much money.
Appears he hasn't got a pot to p*ss now so HMRC will no doubt put the nail in the coffin of dear old Scunny.

Surely there will be some kind of fans crowd funding activity to raise the cash to pay HMRC? That is what normally happens.

about time people like him have to take full responsibility for their actions and the weight of the law comes down heavy on them and not the club or fans who had no say in the matter. he will end up in the bankrupsy courts but will live to fight another day by setting up somewhere else inder a family members name or friend. make these pay every penny back and put em inside if they cannot or refuse.
