He has made 19 appearances for Donny Rovers this season without scoring and with only one assist.
Has he lost his shooting boots I wonder. sctatchinghead

He was never a prolific scorer for Pools in his time at Pools.

Nobody is saying he was but are you not surprised he hasn't chipped in yet. I certainly am.

He was our top scorer last season with 12 goals - 8 in the League, 1 in the FA cup and 3 in the Pizza Cup. It's a bit of a surprise he's a regular at Donny if he's not doing it with goals or assists.

And a total of 1 in each season prior to that, prolific scorer ?

Just wondering if at Donny he is being asked to stay on his wing more? In his last season with us he spent a lot of time either down the middle or being encouraged to cut in as often as necessary. Just a thought.

Just saying he wasn’t a prolific scorer, no need to get nasty.

Nobody is saying he was a prolific scorer, just that it is surprising he hasn't got any.FFS.

I've sent for help. I've just messaged number one Donny fanatic fan.

People do talk or appear to believe he was a prolific scorer after last season, which was his stand out season.
However he must be contributing to his teams performances to keep his place and he proved it when he played down here so it’s not just about goals.

were all those 19 starts or included appearances off the bench. with this 5 sub rule its easier to rack up appearances more than it used to do. possibly signed on last seasons performances anyway rather than on his full pools career.

If he had been any good Challinor would have had him at Stockport.

I'm not sure how many are subs, if any but there are also cup appearances as well so the appearance figure is actually higher. I thought he would do better. I think you're right about Donny being impressed with last season's performance. I went on their site to see if I could find anything out and was surprised that his stats showed no goals and only one assist. I think Rotherham were impressed with him as well, their fans certainly were.
I have only seen him play once this season, against us, and like Snowy said he had a decent game and looked lively. I seem to remember he hit the post at the Vic. I really am surprised that vicious left foot has become barren but hey ho who cares.

Playr who probably benefitted most from Challinor leaving...never really fit into Challinor system, seems mainly effective wide in a 4 3 3

My Donny Rovers supporting friend has told me that Molyneux is one of their better players.

Listening to the Donny fans they are having a really poor season now. They expected to bounce back but have been brought down to earth. Having just lost their best defender to Challinor they are turning on the owners.

I suppose Mols is saving it up for the up and coming meeting with Pools to keep the old boy tradition going. KC and Killip you have been warned.

I'm not concerned cos I know Tumulty will mark him out of the game and even if he does break free the ever dependable Murray will stop him in his tracks.
