could not care less especially after yesterday. however an england defeat would make a good watch on the news and in the papers.

Senegal are a bit of an unknown quantity. They'd be a different proposition if Sadio Mane was fit for the tournament but as it is England should win comfortably enough.

Never thought of that….. now that would be interesting, but St Gareth of Southgate would emerge blameless and carry on till Hell freezes over.

too many non black players in the squad and not kneeling down long enough without the right arm bands will be the guardian take on it.

A very good point, Mr A. I might check the score and if England are losing, tune in. Hope Kane's knee is ok. I am sure all that kneeling is not good for it.

What's with the 'us'? You're happy for England to lose to anybody.

France haven't been all that...

That said, I think Senegal are about to give us a bloody nose anyhow.

Try not to let it shake your world. It'll all be over next Saturday and you can focus on bringing your unique brand sweetness and light to this forum.

I can’t see Southgate ever being sacked, he is the model type manager the FA favour, never controversial with the squad of players he has available he will always have reasonable success, anyway who would they replace him with ?

I can see why a quite a few people hate it as the euphoria goes over the top and all of a sudden we have non footballing fans suddenly turning into England fans.
The BBC do themselves no favours either, it is the British Broadcasting Company but if the England team are having a bit of success it’s the opening headlines on the news and obviously some of the population of the other nations in Great Britain resent this, they don’t pay their TV Licence to watch/listen to England continually.

In my opinion, after much consideration and musing over the prospect of playing France, I say fuck em. Bring em on.

Whoa, the Welsh got plenty of coverage. Anyway, as the English population is six times as big as the Jocks, Blodwyns And Northern Irish combined, you do tend to get more coverage.

The coverage should be the same for every U.K. country, they all pay the same licence fee.

That’s a bit like saying Match of the Day should cover all league matches, Poolies pay a licence fee too.

Yeah that is most likely not inclusive and definitely not diverse.

I’ll rephrase that, ‘ I don’t pay a compulsory licence fee to other channels, like I do to the BBC’….. my mistake.
Not different, just odd according to my psychiatrist, …..but I am married to her.

Whilst I am away I don’t buy a TV Licence but I receive a continuous stream of letters telling me some one will be coming to see me on a certain date at a certain time. I have no idea if they ever do as I am not there. I was back in Hartlepool for while, I couldn’t receive any terrestrial channels as the transmitter at Bilsdale had went on fire. I live in a flat with a communal aerial therefore it would have to have been moved to try and receive signals from Pontop Pike, I never bought a licence as I couldn’t receive the BBC or ITV channels.
