Think winning 5-0 at a canter against the single worst EFL team in history justifies that

Justifies what? We are terrible, everton under 21s beat us 5 nil so I wouldn't get carried away. I thought you were some massive club? Unable to sell 700 tickets to a game 2 hours away after all the money spent on yourselfs is a pretty poor showing.

Time raj actually put the club up for sale. He has been a disaster at two clubs now. Did a great thing saving us, but we are going to end up in the conference north with this guy now.

It's a whopping 130 miles away. Yes 2 hours away. You obviously didn't bother making the arduous trip then.

I can see the Transfer Window being a carbon copy of last season. Trying to get as many shit players off the payroll.
With the 30th of January statement of we were minutes away from some marquee signings due to technical errors from the fax machine.

Major ST Sales boycott on the way.
Billy i reckon you spot on with national league north prediction.
The Stoke defeat will shut the window bfor it opens.

You sound like some chav lottery winner giving themselves airs and graces.
You were wallowing in the National League for years till a sugar daddy came along and you all suddenly woke up and wet your pants with excitement.
As for slagging our town off, you live in a town where you worship a long railway viaduct, a Manchester suburb, hardly the Riviera.
You seem to put thinking low on your list of priorities.

Meh its a pretty good showing to what is a crap away day at a place we have a terrible record and is a cold, miserable hole in the middle of 3 consecutive saturday away games just before christmas with last weeks Charlton game, Rochdale next week which is far more appealing as a local derby

If Dave needed any more proof he made the right decision he got it yesterday in spades, its only out of respect he didnt throw shade that the writing was on the wall with Raj Singh, I imagine you will have your own taste of National League North soon with some local derbies against Spennymoor and Blyth Spartans to look forward to, enjoy

It's not really a good showing though is it? Your fans bragged how big you were and you brought 600. We will probably be bottom of the table come may and will no doubt bring a fair few more than that.

Your preaching to the wrong person about the conference north, I said it 18 months ago when we spent zero and i got hammered for it. This pre season confirmed to me where we are heading. But let's not get all Billy big bollocks you have a sugar daddy and your sat mid table in league 2. If that sugar daddy gets sick you might find yourselves back in the mire with us in 5 years time. Football has a habit of kicking you in the teeth, I'm sure your club won't be too many years away from getting another one.

Way to go Mr Singh. You didn't think you were maybe being just a tad disrespectful to the man who got Pools promoted? Anyway, your own comment has come back and bitten you on the arse. Ouch!

and no mention of an ex manager. talk about disrespect and trying to give them an edge. you do not need to like a person as a man but can respect them for the job they did especially as it was you being a reason he left. mr. singh, you,ll need to do more than your best now to win the fans over in january and hope with my doubts you can walk the walk as talk is cheap.

if thats the best thing you can come ip with after a 5 nil away win i would not bother. even your manager says they have played better and lost. one thing i can guarentee is you will not score 5 at spotland next week unless their players have entered into the sporit of giving at christmas. been to your place and your fans have also left with 20 minutes to go when you are getting hammered so no more oddball than ours.

to be fair they have always had a good away following and the whole fanbase should not be judged on someone coming on here spouting shit and messageboard posters who give a good impression of being too big for the NLN, NL and div.2. at their lowest non league ebb home attendances rarely dropped unger 2,500, the number of real fans they have and would have included most of yesterdays away fans. how many will we get in the vic at the wrong end of the NLN after defeats against blyth and spenny.

Accrington that's the most they have brought to is in 40 years watching Pools and they still only brought 600. Imagine if rolls were reversed and we had about 15 clubs within 2 hours of us.

The transfer window won't make any difference to us once again were scraping around looking at players in the conference north. If raj doesn't want to pay the going rate for decent league two players then put the club up for sale, he is going to make hardly anything out of the stoke game now so might as well try and get out, before the crowd really turn on him.

I honestly thought this guy was a shrewd businessman he had the club bouncing getting regular 5500 crowds which must be better than what's to come, so why he didn't invest a tiny bit to probably get even more back is anyones guess. He can take hobin with him when he eventually goes. These guys are lovers running our club, shown total disregard to the fans, blatantly lying to us to sell season tickets.

point is for some unknown reason they,d have taken not many less to gillingham if they had played them on saturday and they get all giddy about playing at torquay in the past. for some unknown reason they seem put off by hartlepool itself with thoughts about the town as many have about bradford without actually ever visiting the place. do think percentage of home support we,d have had more if the game was away one yesterday for us visiting all those streets of brick terraced houses and a run down street full of pubs and charity shops where a married childless couples are as rare as a hastie goal.

Not sure how you can call anywhere a shit away day coming from stockport. You play miles from the centre with an away end out in the elements. Yes I agree you were very average a good team would of put 10 past that shower, I was shocked how poor defensively you looked on the odd time we struck two passes together.

Until your takeover your crowds weren great shakes. Let's see what happens when the honeymoon is over.

At random looking back to season 1984/85 we played away at Stockport first game of the season, now first game usually produces a decent crowd 1619 at Edgeley Park, we lost our first two games heavily that season 4-1 and 5-1 yet still managed a better crowd than that for our first home game v Swindon.
The following season 85/86 we played away at Stockport in October in front of 1827 fans, the return in March at the Vic 2675, not really stacking up this bigger than us crap. stpid

It's under a mile and 15 mins walk from Edgeley Park to Stockport Town Centre.

Dear SK39DD,
OK so we got a home hammering off you guys yesterday. However, you were gifted two early goals, call them Christmas pressies. Up until then Pools more than matched you and it could have been a different story if it had stayed even at that point. I admit that after that things went very rapidly downhill for us but what would expect given our at the moment circumstances on and off the field? It's easy to big it up and believe you are going to suddenly storm division two and higher. We shall see. In the meantime after checking the drug treatment sheet that by some miscalculation we omitted to administer your monthly Modecate injection to keep you calm and safe. A prick on the upper outer quadrant of your buttock describes you to a tee. See you have Rochdale and Gillingham next. If you are so good as you think you are then you will have every confidence in helping out Pools for Christmas by getting six points off Rochdale and Gillingham respectively. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Maybe I'm getting old but an all seater ground well away from the town centre, and on the times I've been the atmosphere has been dead, doesn't to me constitute a great away day.

I don't think the open away stand helps. There are plans to re-build that. Those plans had been stifled for donkey's years due to a building behind the stand called 'The Bungalow' basically humbugging anything the club wanted to do.

I normally sit in the big stand behind the opposite goal (the Cheadle End) and the atmosphere's good. Mind, I sit towards the back near the nutters. That said it can be a very mixed affair. The game versus Bolton in the cup last season was an absolute cracker atmosphere-wise. There have been some quite drab games which have been sold out. It's quite strange. I think County fans are very reactive to what's being served up on the pitch rather than noisy throughout come what may.

Better on the road. I think the best atmosphere's I've ever experienced have been away from home. The away following often gets credited by opposition fans...certainly when we were down in the NL and NLN (arghhh).

Best of luck rest of the season. No-one's relegated pre-Christmas. A lot of footie to be played...

Who mentioned storming the divisions? not me and if we hadn’t scored first and if you’d of scored first and if it wasn’t raining blah blah blah, think yourselves lucky we weren’t at our best because it would have been ten, to see your ground empty after the third was shameful, shocking support. You deserve what you get, leave the mushrooms alone old chap.

Was at that game in 84.
No Police in the ground and the bastards attacked the away end from both sides of the ground at half time.
Such a shame the Police turned back the Greensides bus at 2:30 for trouble in the town centre.
The good old days.

You get a sugar daddy, it goes to your head ….and your limited mental capacity translates it into Stockport on the road to glory…..you’ve gone from can’t be arsed National League zombies to the master race, so deludedly arrogant you could strut sitting down.
When the wizard of wealth gets bored and the spell wears off and he decides he’ll switch his interest to show jumping or something, anything other than Stopcock County….don’t kid yourself….they do get bored

A disgraceful performance once again, Stockport did not have to be at their half best to put 5 past us, which is of huge concern but unsurprising at the same time. I have no idea how Curle picks this lot up to try and get some points over a massive and crucial next 5-7 games.

5000 at home for a team that's won once in a year at home on a Saturday and is bottom of the tableYes truly shocking . What is shocking is only managing to bring 600 when your supposed to be on the up having a fortune spent on your team or shall we bring up the morgue like atmosphere in the play off match?

I've no problem with stockport or their fans a proper club, but this were the Billy Big boys that quite a lot of your fans seem to have inherited over night ain't going to wash with anyone. I'm sure you will go on to having a decent season but let's be honest so you should really.
