I remember sitting up at the top of the Mill House Stand and Terry was chasing a ball out towards the touchline. Unfortunately, he lost the race & the ball drifted out of play, at which point, very exasperated, I shouted out " Turnbull. You're too slow " !
He just looked up towards where I was sitting & responded " yeah, I know". Just had to laugh & applaud him for his honesty ! Pools had a lot of good "honest" lads like that in those days.

doubt we will ever see his type again due to his starting age and the type of player he was. fact and not blue tinted specs for the old days.
