Mr Brush would frown on that description so I shall weigh in with "your prediction is absolute bullshit"
There you are your bait has been nibbled. It's a joy to oblige.
As for the serious part of your post, I can't bring myself to give credibility to someone who claims that Tony Blair got all the big calls right. I would love to see you tell the loved ones, of lads who lost their lives looking for Tony's WMD's, that he got all the big calls right.

My post has nothing to do with those terrible Iraq wars or what or who caused them.

You said Blair got all the big calls right. Are you now saying Iraq wasn't a big call?????

Who was the bloke who ‘allegedly’ committed suicide in light of the Weapons of Mass Destruction fiasco…?

It’s certainly not easy being the MP for Hartlepool given the distance from the farm near Thirsk.

She has achieved for Hartlepool the same as the previous MPs before her, zilch.

Well the £25 million package about to kick in is I gather disturbing some local Labour members as the fruits will be evident in 2024. As one Labour stalwart told me what use is £25 million, he kept a straight face and I asked him if he was on a wind up.
As for past MP’s, Mandelson swanned about and with his connections achieved nowt, that’s why I voted for him, big mistake by me.
Wrighty…now there’s another invisible man who I din’t vote for, tried the Lib Drms that time…then the disgraced Mike Hill, with all the charisma of a Luke warm radiator who warmed the seat and would have been out in 2019 if Tice hadn’t split the vote….
Oddly you never mention that golden trio of absent MP’s who achieved nothing repeatedly.…wonder why. sctatchinghead
It’s great being a non aligned floating voter.

I didn’t realise you were playing whataboutery which is all that seems to happen these days in politics right from top to bottom. The town has never moved on much since I left for good in 1995 but I did notice that the Marina was built when that none achiever Mandleson was about mind.

The Marina was built by the TDC authorised by Old Mother Thatcher and opposed by Labour, sorry to burst your bubble.
Mandelson was fly to his credit and never knowingly opposed what was basically a Conservative project as he was smart enough to realise as sitting MP some of the rewards would rub off on him….no one’s fool in that respect.

I stand corrected the conservatives are fantastic always have the interests of the working man at the forefront of everything they do and the new MP is the best in 30 years. You have certainly converted me.

Hartlepool did well to get the marina as Redcar was being touted as well, it didn’t start of well as the original developer of the first Apartments went bust and if I remember came to a standstill.

Lots of ‘dodgy’ dealings by the TDC, millions went missing which couldn’t be accounted for,
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/ ... g-millions.

Another ‘dodgy’ deal which was highlighted by Private Eye, remember they have never lost a libel case so there must be an element of truth in the story involving our Mr Musgrave.

Never said any such thing, just stated the facts……luckily I’m not cursed by loyalty to one party……just a floating voter who holds their nose and marks the ballot paper…. they’re all twats after all.

even if a miracle happened and the tories splashed millions in hartlepool and the area with loads of well paid jobs making it a boom area there will still be many who would not vote for them the next time around. something i can never understand.

In Richmond Sunak could carry out a school shooting and still win by a landslide it’s the same in lots of places.

One good thing in Hartlepools favour is it’s now considered as a swing constituency which means it will get a lot of promises if nothing else.
