We’ll if you don’t tell us what the rumour is, how will we ever know.
A secret rumour is no rumour at all.

Rumours eh? Right here we go:
1. Umerah sold for an undisclosed fee
2. Meneyese is going back to Walsall
3. Hastie offered a contract extension
4. Curle leaving to be replaced by Hignett
5. More suits arrive to do various made up jobs.
6.Luke Williams given a two year contract
7.Featherstone goes to Stockport after Pools agree to release him from his contract.

Actually not rumours just made up BS but equally as valid as any other unsubstantiated "story" we may find on twitter etc.

No players unless others shipped out.
Big sponsor gone
Backroom staff gone/going.

And why are we using a Harrogate coach firm for todays travel.

You just have to look at the last 18 months or even closer to home the last month to realise, the mess of this club, no staff seem to want to stay more than a season, we have a forward up front who has hardly touched the ball since he arrived, let alone looks like he can score, a keeper who is making horrendous clangers undroppable, because we don't have a proper keeper on the bench, kids drafted into the squad, unable to fill a subs bench after what was it? 2 games?

No physio, bus we now use off the mighty Harrogate, unable to cope with selling tickets, it happens every two weeks you would think they could of mastered the art by now, a chief executive who basically lied to everyone he could speak too and a chairman who is going to take 2 football clubs out the league.

It's time quite a few left this club, your bringing nothing to it. For a professional football club you are running it like a joke shop. We all know what's coming. The fans will be blamed for it all raj will want a ridiculous amount of money back and we will be in the shit.

Save us the heartache and go now, let us take our chances on finding someone who wants to give a football club a fighting chance.

We have all been puzzled with the CB situation, With KC signing a FW and MF player.

Maybe KC has CBs lined up in the Jan window, He has stated that he,s been talking to agents whose players contracts are up in January.

there cannot be many players whose contracts are up in january apart from loanees and someone on a short term contract. the latter have a short term contract for a reason, possibly as poor as we already have. lads out of contract next summer who make it clear that they want out of that club are the ones to look for. problem is have we the finances to do this.

We cant just rely on players out of contract in Jan or loanees - we should be looking to poach lads whos contracts are up in the summer and pay money for them (this business wont be conducted for league players) but ive watched a few NL games this season and there is an abundance of very good CBs and strikers too, who could more than manage to help us in our struggles. I just hope if any loanees do come our way, they are more in the ilk of Burey and not soo much Ellis Taylor ! we need some big favours and i hope KC has the contacts in the game for just that.
Im not happy with him just now and i dont rate him at all (at the minute) but should he bring some talent in and change our fortunes then he could go down in Ronnie Moore style legendary status !

i,d hate to be keith curle at the moment. the clock is ticking and he cannot make any robinson type mistakes in january. every signings needs to be correct which is a hard task for any manager. apart from loanees does he go for youth or players near the end of their careers whose experiance may see us through. A name i,ll throw into the hat, ash palmer at stockport. not making the bench but bloody good in the air at the back and defending set pieces which has been missing even before this season.

yes Ash Palmer - was always a regular and good CB when they where playing us in the NL. Id take him.

there is alot of good experienced CBs warming benches all over the country just now - we just have to find a few that are willing to come to Pools. Again i think its all about location, we may have to look at some North east based lads who are wanting to come back closer to home. Orr get into the likes of Newcastle again and lend us a Cass type player !

for me we need another striker aswell and... another good ball winning CM

if clubs squads were not artificially numbered there would be more available. clubs are not going to ditch a bench warmer unless he himself can be replaced and so on and so on. Can see more activity later than earlier in the month because of this which gives us a few more games with a sub standard squad and dropping more points. then we cannot bring many in unless we can shift a few out which might not be that easy because who would really want em now.

The return of Ronnie Moore and as his assistant...It's not too early now Steve Howard. KC will have had enough and will go and concentrate on his property business. And agree with Billingham Poolie 1908 Umerah will be flogged without much explanation like Omar B and for an undiclosed fee.

if that happened along with sterry going as well i think it should be time to re think what we do with our saturday afternoons. they can give us all the excuses they can by doing that but it will not wash with me. you do not rip foundations up when they are fine just to lay new ones down before you build.

the strong rumour is Umerah is off like - very worrying. Leyton Orient is the rumoured suitor, and why not... flying high and wouldnt be the first time a club at the top poachers the decent players from the bottom.

It's come to something when some gormless folk seize on a bit of fun as 'evidence' that Pools are up to no good. What bit of "Actually not rumours just made up BS" did you clowns not understand? Personally I'm looking forward to the announcement of Luke Williams 2 year deal

tbh the lad on the other board whos usually on the money hasnt mentioned much and wasnt aware of the Missilou signing either so ... im thinking his contact (s) are either no longer at the club.. or the clubs keeping a tight lid on things .. KC does tend to be more like that tbh.

Man U just parted company with an experienced striker. Not as quick as he was but has an eye for goal. I believe he has played for Portugal a few times.

KC was on radio tees last nite saying how hard it is to get your targets in the January Window.
Could be even harder than hes expecting.
Im living in hope that today's game result can make the window a tad easier.

even drawing man.u away in a televised game and all the money given to him he can only sign whats available. we will still have to wait for clubs to replace players they do not want before we can sign them. no club is going to leave themselves short of players for the rest of the season to accomodate pools even if silly cup money is offered.

Is Sterry signed to end of season if so and fitness allowing offer him a new deal and offer Umerah an extension to his contract. Then look at signing a big Centre back and a partner for Umerah Danny Johnson or Lukre Armstrong should help us get out of trouble. This time Raj keep your promises and spend some money, you have now got in excess of 100k from the FA cup that was not budgeted for.

Pools could do a lot worse than to offer The Saddlers some money in January to make it a permanent transfer. On the other hand, we haven't got a hope in hell of signing Danny Johnson - he's their top scorer.

Hope Luke Armstrong is hard of hearing because he got a load of foul-mouthed dogs abuse second half from a couple of pissheads in the Mill House.

Danny Johnson is not a walsall player, He,s on loan from Mansfield. Loan ends January.

Happy stand corrected.

Suspect we've still got zero chance of signing him. Mansfield's current form is nearly as bad as ours.

The incoming Loan Players need to be of the calibre of Tishbola n Hugill who pulled us out the shit under RMs great escape season.
Our fate is totally in the hands of the Chairman.
He put us in this shit. He now has the chance to redeem his error.

Sadly, chances of signing Armstrong are zero. He signed a new contract and they are in trouble as well, so are hardly likely to be keen to part company.. I doubt the Cup money would be anywhere near enough to make a bid for him as they’d want a fee and his contract….

With regards to budget available in January, where are we in relation to break even figure for crowds? Might that be eating into any windfall?

Crowds have been outstanding since we got back into the league.
Only a cynic pessimist would reckon we not breaking even.
Not saying you are by the way
We double Barrows support and i dont think they are bankrolled by a trillionaire.

There must be enough wiggle room in January to preserve our EFL status.
Hopefully  we get to finish 22nd or a tad higher.
UTP.

Danny Johnson is not a walsall player, He,s on loan from Mansfield. Loan ends January.

Happy stand corrected.

Suspect we've still got zero chance of signing him. Mansfield's current form is nearly as bad as ours.[/quote]

Oates is due back from injury anytime soon, And now Johnson is used to 1st team football he will not like to warm the bench.

The Umerah rumour came to me well before this thread btw.

its Mayo we need to worry about loosing in Jan if walsall call him back (albeit he hasnt played much in the last 2 months) but by god do we need him back ! just hope there is more CBs to come in Jan

According to the Walsall fans their manager does not fancy him.

If he,s going to elbow players he deserves it, Did the same in the cup game earlier this season.

Heard Harvey Saunders could be looking for a move away from Bristol Rovers in January if his fortunes don't change as his appearances this season have been limited to cameo's at the end of games. Whether he could do a job for us or not is open to question of course. 25 years old now and should be approaching his peak.

Micky Nelson was doing his best to get Blyth relegated from the NLN for the first half of last season so Carver could well have been his recommendation.

See Nelson is now temporary manager at Scunthorpe - wonder how many mirrors the Iron broke to deserve that?
