Like I said before, the commentator in their last match said Bale can score when he wants to…. Why didn’t he?……..

The Taffs were well beaten. Whatever happens with England-USA tonight, when they play us they'll be going all out for a win with all the pash-un that a nation with a collective chip on its shoulder can muster

Bale was very ordinary as were Wales, their only chance is for England to beat USA and rest their preferred starting eleven but even then England should be too good, unless of course they give their neighbours a helping hand.

Because he has God status in Wales, he’s going to be anointed as the ‘patron Saint of Man Buns’.

We should give Wales exactly what they would give us if the roles were reversed.

Him and Ramsey too. Surprised Ramsey stayed on as long as he did because he's too slow to track back and Wales kept being overrun whenever Iran broke forward. Bit like the Pools midfield really.

Ramsey gave the ball to Iran players more than he did to team mates. He was absolutely shocking. I guess he was playing on reputation. Wales were poor against the Yanks as well and despite all the hype dont deserve to get out of the group stages. Having said that, I am hoping the Yanks beat England this evening cos I can't stand Southgate and his woke warriors. If the Yanks win and Wales beat England it is Bye Bye Southgate. Fingers crossed.

If we draw with Wales, they’ll be swaggering about saying we couldn’t beat them and therefore in their twisted logic we’re equal with them..
If we lost, abandon all hope because it would go into Welsh Folk history, even if we actually won the World Cup they’d still bang on and on and on and on an on about how they’re better than us till the ice caps melt.
If (when) we beat them, they’ll slip quietly away after running their puddings out and busting a gut to score a goal…..
Let’s be honest, they’d show us no mercy and rub our noses in it.

We have a few Welsh in our village and if they beat us at rugby there is a Welshman at every corner but when England win you don't see any of them for weeks.

Well that was poor. England looked slow to the ball all over the pitch against a very athletic USA team.

Just realised it’s 10 o’clock at night when they kicked off, it must be a long day hanging about till that time.

Dont much care who is with me or not. It is my opinion and I am sticking with it. You have your opinion and I expect you are sticking with it. There is room for more than one opinion on this board I would suggest. As for England against USA, I expect all England fans were reassured that Southgate thought England performed well and Harry Kane was so amazing he played 90 minutes. No hint of favouritism with the likes of Stirling and Mason Mount playing despite shocking form and Foden kept on the bench while the likes of Henderson brought on. Anyway, what do I know? Luckily, the Welsh dont look like scoring unless they get a penalty so if Southgate's activists can hold on for a draw, they should make it out of the group. Yipee.

You’re being too generous Kev….. England were toothless up front Saka, Mount, Stirling and stiffy Kane we’re bullied, out fought and hopeless and never even looked like scoring. You can’t help but get annoyed with Southgate’s chummy selections at times.

its like all group stages in every competition. its about qialification and nothing else. once the knock out stages start then its about winning and nothing else. always find when teams score more than 4 goals in a game the next one is totally different.

Isn't it more a case of 'why would you care?' than 'what do you know?'

Seems odd to me that that you want the Welsh 'woke warriors' (Rainbow bucket hats and all) to beat the English variety, but then, what would I know?

subsitute the scots for the welsh and they are just the same. as for bale and ramsey i think its one tournament too far for them but with many smaller nations there is no one else.

Well one of the posters above hinted that the only reason I object to Southgate was his wokeness so I try to point out that his favouritism and lack of tactical acumen are also key factors. Still, when England win the World Cup, all the Southgate fans will enjoy telling me how wrong I was. Of course, I look forward to that day.

‘When a team score 4 goals the next one is totally different’ Probably because you have just beaten a poor team and the next one is decent.

Payback time it appears. Qatar is reviewing it’s financial interests in London following the Mayors ban on advertising Qatar on public transport in London.

I get the impression that the interest in the World Cup by fans isn’t the same as in previous years, personally I have only watched 1 full game, daytime I am top busy to sit down and watch it.
I also have a problem as I can’t receive BBC or ITV channels due to the Bilsdale transmitter being out of commission. I rely on the internet for watching the games but my wi fi signal, Vodafone is running very slow for some reason so there is a lot of buffering.

Ive only watched the usa v england game.
Got no intentions of watching any none England game.
Looking forward to tuesday nite.

Since the New Bilsdale Transmitter went up. My 2 Freeview tvs signal has been perfect even with airels in the loft.
Sometimes just moving aireal to south east by 1 inch can be the difference.
Hope that helps.
