I watched the match. Is someone feeling a bit silly? Silly Snowy! There was you, Poolie1 and the fella who backed us with 50 notes to get promoted agreeing with each other vehemently during pre-season.

The gambler has admitted defeat, Poolie1 has disappeared… Here we are - who knows anything about football - I’m sorry, some do, you do not - what a tepid defence.

Batman is still here… Robin fled the minute he realised he had made an absolute show of himself. Those posts would be comical now, purely for the backlash you received for even doubting that asking a Portuguese local to join in with training MIGHT be a red flag - along with the inability to field a team and the scattergun transfer policy!

Aye ‘Batman’ is still here…. All the time.
You only appear after defeats, funny that, never appear after a rare win or draw.
Why’s that?

Dont bite batman
Lost track of the stats.

Reckon its about 9% win ratio for last 25 games at best.

Reckon that stat answers your query.

Yes Snowy, I watched the match, and shared my views on an Internet forum you also partake in. Are you telling me that 3-0 down in 20 mins demands my full attention at every second of a game we were never getting back into.. what analysis can you give me after that, that I can’t give you in my momentary breaks? Hilariously poor again from Pools.

Dennis on radio tees asking were last seasons unbudgeted incomes went.
Fairplay to bbc tees for not cutting his criticism of Sing.

actually after that start with a sub standard papa johns type 11 on the pitch the 3 -1 defeat was actually not that bad. if this was the last game of the season and they nneded 10 to overthrow a bad goal difference that might have happened. must have declared at half time when the result was never in doubt.

Well if Killip keeps this form up Zero to hero to Zero again it means we are due a hero so that's us beating Harrogate on Saturday but also means we are fooked against D.C the ex messiah.

just shows the good and bad sides of killip that we have all seen since the day he walked into the club. he has never improved on his bad side of the game and doubt he ever will now. pointless having a complete keeper though with the dross everywhere else on the pitch apart from the odd couple.

When a patched up team of misfits and misfires is 3-0 down after 20 minutes you have to be thankful for small mercies that it finished 3-1.

The fact is, Pools gifted Barrow two of their three goals. Killip's rick for the opener is diabolical (https://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/iFollow/). For once, he comes off his line, which is the right call, but instead of belting it into the nearest stand the plonker tries to be clever. For the third, Pools are playing a ridiculously high line with Ferguson looking liken he's barely able to walk let alone run and a simple ball over the top does them.

Interesting in his post-match comments on iFollow that Curle offers Ferguson zero sympathy and implies that the injury isn't serious. He also talks openly about a lot of the squad being 'not good enough' after weeks of refusing to criticize his players. It's hard to judge how he's doing as a manager when he's working with somebody else's third rate squad and so many players are unavailable. Pools most urgent need next week is a new physio!

Have to agree that 3-1 was a good result considering the start we had. With the injury plague showing no sign of changing in fact, getting worse you cant help having that sinking feeling. We have Harrogate at home next Sat and they are starting to show some form. I see Armstrong got two for them yesterday. Then we play money bags Stockport. Maybe Challinor will feel sorry for us and instruct his team to score no more than three. Not a lot to look forward to if I'm honest. I don't think we need a physio, we need our own A and E department.

You can go Sky Sports football results then click on the Barrow v Pools result. You should find a match report and a short video showing the goals. If you want longer highlights, I dont know how you get those.

Cheers all. 1st was an absolute howler.
Killips confidence must be shattered.
Just hope the fans don't have a go at him as that would be counterproductive.
