I drink Guinness, I don’t mind the cans, in Sainsbury's today I picked a pack of 4 four up stacked where they normally are. I got home, I had only picked up 0.0% Draught Guinness, I didn’t even know it existed, opened 1, it’s disgusting poured contents away. 3 cans in the fridge will be going in the bin.

Take it back. Or give them away, you'll be surprised who will have something for Nowt.

never see the point of non alcholic alcoholic drinks. its not as if there is a wide range of stuff to drink which is non alcoholic anyway. these were crap when they first came out and after all these years it sounds as if they have not improved.

It’s a bit like Diet Coke and ordinary coke…if they tasted the same, they’d just call Diet Coke…….Coke, and stop making the sugary stuff.

love it when you see big fatties eating a massive meal that would keep africa going for a week and then order a diet coke with it as if it was going to make a difference.

I prefer diet coke to the sugary variety so if I am having a fizzy pop I always ask for the diet one. Tastes better to me. Although that coke zero is ok too.
I have a savoury tooth rather than a sweet tooth.
Big fatties generally don't diet so if you see one buying a diet soft drink it is probably because, like me, they prefer it.

so am i but was mainly because i could not get the drink of my choice rather than for health reasons. always hated spirits and could never understand the wine thing unless you put it on chips because the vinegar had run out. once dark mild became a thing of the past so did alcohol for me. bring back menthol fags and i,ll pack in smoking then.

Being TEETOTAL wasn't brought about because of health or being an ex alcoholic but very simple.

At the age of 60ish both my parents were alive so was the wife's father, being 100 miles one way and 80 miles the other and as I was a Sales Manager and spent my life on the road, what do you do if you get a call as one of the parents was rushed to hospital if you have had a few sherbets?

Now 74 and both sets of parents have passed on I just haven't bothered about drinking alcohol and still have 4 unopened bottles of wine that I "won" whilst repping, some being as old as 15 years.

I am amazed though at the amount of booze some people have in their shopping trolleys when I am in Morrisons.

yes, and they are not the younger end by any means. know everyone is different but the constant question that people put when they go to an away game about places to drink is enough to put me off for life even if i still drank. seems the game itself is of secondary importance to that and will possibly be the first ones moaning about the cost of living. prefer a decent bite to eat before the match than a pint and a half for the same money.

The best screen wash i have seen was demonstrated by a lady in Church Street who jumped on a taxis bonnet and pissed on the windscreen. The driver switched on the windscreen wipers and he had a clear view  .
And yes it did happen................
